A new species of Phasmatocoris Breddin, 1904 (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Reduviidae: Emesinae) from Ecuador, with taxonomic notes and an updated key of the genus

Phasmatocoris ecuadorensis sp. nov. (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Reduviidae: Emesinae) is described from Ecuador based on a male specimen. Phasmatocoris Breddin, 1904 is recorded from Ecuador for the first time. Short taxonomical notes on Phasmatocoris praecellens (Bergroth, 1911) are provided. An updated key to the species of Phasmatocoris is presented.

A new species of Harpinia was discovered in Mediterranean specimens identified as Harpinia truncata Sars, held in collections at Museo Civico di Storia Naturale, Verona. Examination of the Verona material proved that this species (Harpinia karamani sp. nov.) is morphologically distinct from Harpinia truncata, which has an arctic/boreal distribution. Further, in examination of material of Harpinia truncata from near its type locality, a rare male specimen was discovered. Herein, Harpinia karamani sp. nov. is described, illustrated and differentiated from H. truncata and the male of H. truncata is described for the first time.

The genus Hypsohapsis Hoey-Chamberlain & Weirauch was erected based on only one male specimen from southern Brazil (São Paulo). Hypsohapsis amazonica sp.n., described herein from the Brazilian Amazon, is based on a male and two females collected in pristine tropical forest. The female of Hypsohapsis is described for the first time. In addition, an updated key to the genera of Hypselosomatinae is provided.

The oribatid mite subgenus Scheloribates (Topobates) Grandjean, 1958, is recorded from the Neotropical region for the first time. A new species of this subgenus is described from the leaf litter collected in Cayo Agua Island, Panama. Scheloribates (Topobates) panamaensis sp. nov. differs from its related species by the very large body size and presence of a strong ventrodistal process on the leg femora II–IV.

Two braconid genera from the subfamily Alysiinae, Lodbrokia Hedqvist, 1962 and Asyntactus Marshall, 1898, are recorded in the fauna of Russia and in the Asian continent for the first time. A new species Lodbrokia uralica sp. nov. is described from the Urals, and a key to species of this genus is provided. Redescriptions of the female and male of Asyntactus rhogaleus Marshall, 1898 with information about the level of variability of its morphological characters are given. Asyntactus sigalphoides Marshall, 1898 is synonymised with A. rhogaleus Marshall, 1898 (syn. nov.).

The subfamily Lypusinae of Korea is reviewed with three species including a new species, Agnoea danguni Sohn, sp. nov. belonging to nominotypical subgenus, and two species of Agnoea belonging to the subgenus Tubuliferodes Toll, 1956: A. (T.) digitiella Kim, 2020 and A. (T.) josephinae (Toll, 1956). The female characters of A. digitiella are described for the first time. Additional collecting records are provided for A. digitiella and A. josephinae. Photographs of the habitus and the genitalia are provided for all three species of Agnoea known so far from Korea.
