Generally the usage of vehicle tracking system has been increased rapidly. The major concern of the proposed system is identifying the vehicle theft by implementing anti-system. Vehicle tracking system is bene-ficial in many ways such as providing security to the personal vehicles, taxis, cabs, school buses/cars and others. Vehicle tracking system is designed to know the position of the vehicle. Tracking system is developed by using GPS and GSM modules to locate the user’s vehicle easily. GPS module is used to track the location of the vehicle in the form of values such as latitude and longitude. These values are transmitted to the user using GSM modem through mobile network. Different sensors are used to detect alcohol consumption and to identify the accident. The Sensor values can be monitored by anyone from anywhere in the world using thingspeak channel. RFID technology is used to facilitate security to the vehicle tracking and anti-theft system. Ignition key is used to detect the theft and when theft is detected, GSM control app is used to control the vehicle remotely

This paper presents an efficient system which detects the vehicle accident and sends intimation to the registered mobile numbers such as ambulance or vehicle owner or police etc. IOT based vehicle tracking system detect the Accidents and it sends the position of the vehicle to the specified or pre-programmed mobile number as an SMS. Not only prohibited the accidents. It also prevents the vehicle from theft. If we want opening the door of the vehicle then we need to press a button. Now the owner of the vehicle gets an SMS to grant access. The door will be opened after the authentication only. If an unknown one tries to open the door of the vehicle then you can restrict that person by using mobile. The GPS is used for tracking the vehicle in this system. If any accident detected then an alert will be given with buzzer. Now the driver can press button to stop that. If it is small accident, here the driver can stop the buzzer if the vehicle is safe with in time period. Otherwise an alert will be sent to the owner of the car. It indicates that the person in car or car in trouble.

Vehicle tracking and monitoring system plays a significant role in ensuring safety and security of vehicles. These systems come handy in situations like stolen recovery vehicle, fleet management, asset tracking, fuel management, surveillance, etc. The proposed system uses Raspberry Pi as the Embedded Linux board to enhance the client monitoring and pervasive vehicle tracking system. Conventional vehicle tracking method uses microcontroller 18F45K20 and 2G technology which makes it less suitable for receiving data in tower less areas. This proposed system makes use of GPS and GSM technologies for vehicle tracking and Altium software to minimize PCB board size that could be a ubiquitous client monitoring system. GPS receiver helps in tracking the vehicle location whereas vehicle monitoring is achieved by taking pictures and videos of vehicle location with the help of Raspberry Pi camera. 3G technology is implemented to increase tracking speed and to improve monitoring. Python coding is used as the programming language in the proposed system and the novelty lies in this ubiquitous client monitoring system is recovering the complete information even after when the network restores.

This paper presents the innovative emergency Sanitation Operation System (eSOS) concept created to improve the entire emergency sanitation chain and provide decent sanitation to people in need. The eSOS kit is described including its components: eSOS smart toilets, an intelligent excreta collection vehicle-tracking system, a decentralized excreta treatment facility, an emergency sanitation coordination center, and an integrated eSOS communication and management system. The paper further deals with costs and the eSOS business model, its challenges, applicability and relevance. The first application, currently taking place in the Philippines will bring valuable insights on the future of the eSOS smart toilet. It is expected that eSOS will bring changes to traditional disaster relief management.
