Sophisticated technology advances are fast taking taking shape to provide long term destination therapy mechanical circulatory assistance. Sai Spandan total articial heart with hybrid BSRM core with dual motor and controls, virtual t technology is one such over the horizon. The promise is of better quality of life and longevity. Transcutaneous charging of fully implantable models would very soon revolutionize cardiac surgical treatment modalities. The nal frontier in a failing Fontan is sub pulmonary mechanical assistance. We take a short look into the issues and possibilities. The research gap exists for the innovator in this eld.

Abstract This article discusses the physical and technological approaches to systemic film moistening. The features of storage and operation of film in various conditions are considered. A number of features and facts are presented that affect the organization of both systemic humidification and the maintenance of long-term storage of film materials on analog media. The article presents the main factors that affect the quality of the working surface of 35 mm and 16 mm film: the specifics of the composition of the film; the effects of a temporary, natural and technological nature on motion pictures; sophisticated technology for servicing analog film projectors, rewinding devices and film checking facilities. The analysis of the sequence of manipulations of technological equipment and chemical compositions for stable operation without gusts, drying and burnout of film materials is carried out. The article gives the physicochemical content of work on the stages of film moistening, taking into account the specifics of the applied filmostatic liquids. In the step-by-step process of moistening, after the end of each stage, the main results obtained are assessed by visual comparison of the image projections, followed by the digitization of the image and the correction of the result obtained in graphic editors. To eliminate artifacts, scratches and other elements of entropy, the authors recommend using neural network approaches for working with film materials.

Ardhavabhedaka is a type of Shiroroga. It is unilateral headache with Compli- cations of blindness and hearing loss. It can be clinically correlated with migraine based on clinical manifestation. Affecting at least 1 adult in every 7 in the world (WHO). It is 3 time more common in women than men. it causes moderate to severe pain that is throbbing or pulsating, requiring long-term management. It causes personal suffer- ing, impaired quality of life and high financial cost. Nasya Karma and Shirodhara are the prime treatment modalities for Shirogata disease. A 19 year old girl patient came to OPD with complaining of severe headache. Shirodhara done with milk + Dashmool - Kwath and Mahanarayan tail. After done this Panchkarma treatment patient got highlysignificant relief in the cardinal symptoms of Ardhavabhedaka. Keywords: Migraine, Ardhavbhaedaka, Shirodhara

A single ventricle (SV) heart defect is a rare complex congenital cardiac malformation. We followed up the four adult patients who had SV since birth without surgical intervention and they had a good prognosis.The common ultrasound characteristics of four long-term SV survivors were investigated by reviewing their medical records and the literature, and the current treatment methods for SV patients were also reviewed. In our opinion,such patients with balanced hemodynamic condition should be followed and treated conservatively. This report aims to improve the prognosis as well as quality of life of SV patients.

The rapid advancement of curative treatment modalities has resulted in improvement of cure rates of head neck cancer leaving us with a larger number of long term survivors from the disease. Unfortunately, long term complications of therapy continue to hurt patients even after cure, compromising their quality of life. This is particularly true for the patients treated with primary radiation/chemo-radiation therapy, where so called organ preservation does not necessarily translate into preservation of organ function. Long term sequelae of treatment, particularly xerostomia and swallowing difficulties compromise the survivors’ quality of life. More studies, particularly suited to our clinical scenario, are warranted to address the quality of life issues in these patients, so that better evidence-based guidelines may be developed for their benefit.

As recently as 35 years ago, children born with a functionally single ventricle were destined to a lifetime of multiple palliative operations, and disrupted growth and development. Physical signs of their cardiac disease were evidenced by chronic hypoxemia, polycythemia, clubbing, small stature, and severely reduced exercise ability. A normal lifestyle, with typical landmarks such as uninterrupted adolescence and potential childbearing, was unlikely. The successful application of right heart bypass by Fontan and Kreutzer in the early 1970s heralded an era of multiple medical and surgical breakthroughs that have systematically improved the quality of life and long-term outlook for these children.
