Serial communication has been widely used in varies fields, and its application in the measuring system for the keel-line of ships is discussed in this paper. The main function of the measuring system is to fulfill the orientation introducing, thus to realize the unification of coordinates. Serial communication is applied in the measuring system to achieve real-time data communication between self-collimation theodolite, electronic gradienter, center computer and computer of measuring system. The component of a communication system, the function, the system protocol and the program design are introduced in this paper. It is proved that the communication system, which fulfills real-time as well as accurate and reliable data communication, has already been applied in measuring system of ships keel-line.

Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench is a graphical programming software exploited by NI company with powerful real-time data processing and analysis functions. The paper focuses on the thread for designing and main function of serial communication module based on Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench and describes the function and use of the VISA function in Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench. Experiments show that the serial communication module is convenient, powerful, and of good portability and scalability.

This paper mainly introduces a kind of product packaging transmission line control system based on Siemens S7-200 PLC. It elaborated the main function principle of the system and the implementation of the control program; SIMATIC WinCC flexible 2008 of SIEMENS was used to monitor the status of the system, and display the real-time data and alarm report. At the same time the system can also be controlled by the screen.

With the wide application of Internet of things technology and era of large data in agriculture, smart agricultural design based on Internet of things technology can efficiently realize the function of real-time data communication and information processing and improve the development of smart agriculture. In the process of analyzing and processing a large amount of planting and environmental data, how to extract effective information from these massive agricultural data, that is, how to analyze and mine the needs of these large amounts of data, is a pressing problem to be solved. According to the needs of agricultural owners, this article studies and optimizes the data storage, data processing, and data mining of large data generated in the agricultural production process, and it uses the k-means algorithm based on the maximum distance to study the data mining. The crop growth curve is simulated and compared with improved K-means algorithm and the original k-means algorithm in the experimental analysis. The experimental results show that the improved K-means clustering method has an average reduction of 0.23 s in total time and an average increase of 7.67% in the F metric value. The algorithm in this article can realize the functions of real-time data communication and information processing more efficiently, and has a significant role in promoting agricultural informatization and improving the level of agricultural modernization.
