The self-assembly membranes (the SAMs) was prepared on aluminum alloy at three different temperatures. The electrochemical properties of Al alloy with SAMs and bare Al alloy were investigated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy in a 3.5wt. % NaCl solution. The measured EIS data was simulated by an equivalent circuit. The results demonstrated that the Impedance value of 1 h preparation time was greater than the other time. To illustrate, with the preparation time was long, they have not better the performance of self-assembled monolayers.
