The goal of distributed heterogeneous information integration is seamless interactions among different business tasks. To achieve the goal, the paper presents a novel middleware framework in service oriented computing (SOC) environment. We analyze the framework in detail and propose three steps for integrating the heterogeneous information resource, including heterogeneous databases. The unified user interface is provided which invoking and binding Web services more dynamically and flexibly in the framework. Especially, we put forward the specific realization process of the core modules of the framework. As an example, we propose the realization of wrapping heterogeneous database as Web services. Finally, we propose the services oriented business integration process and provide the remedial measures for the model of the business process integration. The approach can achieve low cost, flexibility to change and full of system extensibility for distributed heterogeneous information integration.

Web Services for Remote Portlets (WSRP) provide solutions for implementation of lightweight Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). UDDI extension for WSRP enables the discovery and access to user facing web services provided by business partners while eliminating the need to design local user facing portlets. Most importantly, the remote portlets can be updated by web service providers from their own servers. Remote portlet consumers are not required to make any changes in their portals to accommodate updated remote portlets. This approach results in easier team development, upgrades, administration, low cost development and usage of shared resources. Furthermore, with the growing interest in SOA, WSRP should cooperate with service bus (ESB).In this paper, the author examines the technical underpinning of the UDDI extensions for WSRP (user facing remote web services) and their role in service sharing among business partners. The author also briefly outlines the architectural view of using WSRP in enterprise integration tasks and the role Enterprise Service Bus (ESB).

This work aims to make use of information technology to improve present test platform, proposing TPIF(Test Process Integration Framework) as an integrated interaction framework for enginer, quality controller, corporate vendor, and manager to test data and analyze information. Also, it suggests a practicable system framework and implementation case to illustrate the integration and reconciliation degree of TPIF. In TPIF, a component utilizes ATML as the basic format for test information is designed to transform ATML message to Web Services rapidly, upgrading the reliability of test information and be a reference for relevant research. The implication of this proposed framkwork is to mature the integration of test imformation; besides, the engineers could have better understanding of the completed status in production process through combining ATML and information flow , as well as enhancing the yield rate and reduce the possibility of damage.

Based on metadata technique, this paper introduced metadata service oriented multi-source heterogeneous information data integration frame for large multi-source heterogeneous information integration management and interconnecting, intercommunicating, interoperability between different heterogeneous information systems. This metadata service oriented frame, benefiting from knowledge base of data warehouse, had 5 layers frame system including resource layer, integration layer, management layer, service layer and customer layer. Metadata service system contained data layer, directory service logic layer, data exchange layer and Web presentation layer. This paper represented that the metadata service was the core of integration frame, and the realization of integration management platform was feasible.

Assembling a coherent view of distributed heterogeneous information and their processing is challenging but important for inter-organizational business collaboration and service provision. However, traditional integration approaches do not consider dynamic and adaptive issues such as human intervention and exception handling. Therefore, we propose a Workflow-based Information Integration (WII) approach, which is particularly suitable in a loosely coupled Web services environment. Our implementation framework comprises five layers: semantic, application, workflow, service, and message. We focus on the workflow layer for providing adaptiveness from the aspects of various types of flows such as controlflows, data-flows, security-flows, exception-flows and semantic-flows by using the Business Process Execution Language for Web Services (BPEL). We further extend this with our proposed data-integration, semantic-referencing, and exception-handling assertions in order to achieve dynamic and adaptive workflow-based information integration plans. We map information into SOAP messages and link the proposed exception-handling assertions in BPEL to SOAP-fault implementations. We also define semantic referencing in BPEL by using OWL Web Ontology Language. Lastly, we demonstrate the feasibility of our adaptive approach with an intelligence information integration case study at the application layer and examine some typical use cases of exception-handling with semantic support.

For problem of heterogeneous system integration, Service-oriented component of integration model is proposed and the integration framework of component-based is constructed in this paper, which is based on research service component and integrated structure of SOA. The structure of service components is Designed, and analysis its working principle. WEB service and description criterion of registered for system is defined. Paper further study the key technical of heterogeneous information integration and mapping model. Finaly, with examples no heterogeneous systems integrate framework of service component is designed and implemented.

This chapter examines the concept of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) in conjunction with the Web Services technology as an implementation of the former’s design principles. Following a brief introduction of SOA and its advantages, a high-level overview of the structure and composition of the Web Services platform is provided. This overview covers the core Web services specifications as well as features of the extended architecture stack, which together form a powerful and robust foundation for building distributed systems. The chapter concludes with a discussion of the scope of applicability of SOA and Web services. The overall goal of this chapter is to portray the key assets of the presented technologies and evaluate them as tools for handling adaptability, portability, and interoperability issues that arise in modern business environments.

The information integrated plan based on Web services was proposed, in view of the informations in current CAD, CAE systems are heterogeneous, distributed and diversity. Combined with the CAD/CAE information integrated system to expound the realization process of Web Services. On the basis of overall analysis of the CAD/CAE information integrated system, provided the framework of information integrated system with PDM functions as the core, which based on Web services technology. The development of CAD/CAE information integrated system based on Web services offerrs a possibility for remote collaboration in a distributed enviorment.
