This paper uses Multi-index to assess regional power quality comprehensively. This paper introduces genetic projection pursuit method on power quality comprehensive evaluation. Without human intervention, this method overcomes the traditional power quality comprehensive evaluation method is influenced by subjective factors. Based on this, we put forward improved genetic projection pursuit algorithm. In the process of projection pursuit model and in the field data, changing the maximum normalized to normalization of national standard limit. According to the field experiment data in QingHai province, we assess the results by analysis and comparison with the original method. The improved method is more accurate on power quality comprehensive assessment.

A new comprehensive evaluation method of tobacco mixing uniformity was presented in this paper. In this method, projection pursuit model was used to select evaluation index and determine the index weights. Seven chemical compositions which had a major impact on the overall evaluation, such as total volatile acid, total volatile bases, PH, polyphenol, protein, total nitrogen and chlorine were sampled repetitiously and calculated the average and coefficient of variance. Tobacco mixing uniformity was evaluated by the score according to coefficient of variance. Comprehensive evaluation of five batches of tobacco was carried out and the results were consistent with the traditional. This method was easy to get basic data and evaluation results fitted the actual. It was a simple and practical evaluation method of mixing uniformity.

In order to assess the power quality objectively and effectively, a comprehensive evaluation method of power quality based on rough set and D-S evidence theory has been proposed in this paper. The method combines rough set theory by means of defining the decision-making strength and expansion rules and using the decision-making table to obtain the basic probability assignment of D-S evidence theory, then by applying the fusion rules of evidence theory to integrate the various indicators of power quality, the pros and cons of ordering from each power quality evaluations can be obtained to achieve a comprehensive evaluation of power quality. The examples show that the results of power quality evaluation are more objective and rational by using this method. So it can prove the correctness and superiority of this method.

Comprehensive evaluation method for interchange project is built on the basic principle and the solution process of the projection pursuit algorithm. The method can determine directly the objective weights of the indexes from the project of being evaluated, and avoid the subjective negative impact on the conclusion of the determining index weights and the conclusion influenced by the index weights given by people themselves in other evaluation methods. Real coding based Accelerating Genetic Algorithm (RAGA) is proposed and applied to deal with global optimization problem of high-dimensional data effectively by optimizing the projection index function and searching for the optimal projection directional vector.

The purpose of this paper is to propose a suitable comprehensive evaluation method for motion similarity comprehensive evaluation of humanoid robot. Different humanoid robot operation tasks with different complexity degree were selected. The indexes of humanoid robot arm motion were used in the fields of robotics and ergonomics. A static comprehensive evaluation model was established based on the projection pursuit evaluation method. However, the static evaluation model is only suitable for single time point evaluation without the time dimension. A dynamic comprehensive evaluation method, based on the projection pursuit evaluation method with information entropy and time degrees, was proposed by linearly weighting the index weight of the static model at each time point according to the timing-weighted vectors. The comparison between the motion similarity comprehensive evaluation results obtained from the static and the dynamic comprehensive evaluation models demonstrated that the similarity in motion based on the dynamic comprehensive evaluation model is higher. The comparison of the reliability, similarity, and dispersion between the static and the dynamic comprehensive evaluation models showed that the dynamic comprehensive evaluation result had better accuracy, stability, and lower dispersion, and the result was more reasonable and credible. Therefore, the dynamic comprehensive evaluation method proposed in this paper is more suitable for the motion similarity comprehensive evaluation of humanoid robot arm.

A dynamic comprehensive evaluation method of power quality based on incentive and punishment mechanism is proposed. At the beginning, the index system is designed and unified. Next, the incentive and punishment mechanism model of each index is established. Then, the vertical and horizontal scatter degree method and minimal variability theory are applied to calculate the comprehensive evaluation value of all the indices on every time period and on the whole time series respectively. Finally, the realistic example demonstrates that this method can easily differentiate the quality of different evaluation objects.
