As the increasingly strict emission regulations, develop new and efficient desulfurization equipment, to meet the requirements of future Marine sulfur emissions control, ensure freedom of navigation in all waters of the ship, we need to desulfurization of diesel engine emissions. Waste desulfurization generated also need to process and strict inspection to reach the discharge standard of corresponding IMO. The main purpose of this paper is to study a new system for processing waste engine emission for marine diesel engine, this system will make waste liquid treatment becomes more efficient, energy saving, but also saves the cost of waste water treatment. This paper introduces a new technology for processing ship washing desulfurization waste liquid, we analyze the advantages and disadvantages of this equipment. Finally, this method gives the improving measures for the problems and prospects for the development trend of ship desulfurization wastewater treatment.

With concern about the influence from hazardous emissions of marine diesel engine using fuel oil as fuel and international convention on marine diesel engine emission regulations, the new technology developments of foreign marine dual fuel diesel engines and their latest progresses are introduced, and the development trend of dual fuel diesel engine applications on ship demonstrated. The using problems of the marine dual fuel diesel engine in China are researched with an analysis and prospect of action and reaction in China.

In waste water treatment processes microorganisms are subjected to a feast and famine regime. For sequencing batch processes this is often even more pronounced. Based on literature reports and own research it is hypothesized that in general microorganisms respond to these feast-famine regimes by accumulating storage polymers (polyhydroxyalkanoates) when substrate is present. The storage polymers are used for growth when the external substrate is depleted. In this manner the organisms are capable to balance their growth. A general hypothesis explaining polymer formation is developed. The advantages and disadvantages of this formation of storage polymers for the operation of SBR processes is discussed.

The research aims at a new technology of ecological waste water treatment, which can not only clean up in a high efficient to some inorganic element, such as N and P and etc, hold up pollutants in waste water efficiently, but also improve purification efficiency of unit volume of sewage by 32-46% and keep it functioning normally all year around.
