The steel St3 was processed by equal channel angular pressing. The structure and properties of the steel after two ECAP passes were determined. The different routes (Bc and C) resulted in different microstructure evolution during the equal channel angular pressing. It has been shown that equal channel angular pressing is a very suitable method for produce materials with good mechanical properties.

The influence of equal channel angular pressing by route A on the structure and properties of sintered Al-40Sn alloys was investigated. It was founded that the microstructure of sintered alloys very strong correlated with the type of initial powders that, nevertheless, not affects on mechanical properties of sintered alloys. The sintered structure of alloys was transformed in the layered one, using the pressing. It results in the square of interphase boundaries enlarging that gives to Al-40Sn alloys some additional strengthening and wear resistance.
