During field surveys in central and southwestern China, three new species, Trichoderma acremonioides, T. rugosum and T. subalni were discovered. They are located respectively in the Viride, Longibrachiatum and Harzianum clades. Trichoderma acremonioides from southwest of China forms reddish brown ascomata, hyaline ascospores and very simple conidiophores. Trichoderma rugosum occurring in Hubei and Tibet is specialized by stroma cortical tissue of textura intricata, hyaline ascospores, and trichoderma-like conidiophores. Trichoderma subalni from Tibet is characterized by rufous stromata, green ascospores, trichoderma-like conidiophores, and slow growing on standard media. Detailed morphological distinctions between the new species and their close relatives are discussed. Their phylogenetic positions were determined based on sequence analyses of RPB2 and EF-1α genes.

Species diversity of Micropsalliota in China remains poorly known, especially in southwestern China, a hotspot of biodiversity. Based on morphological characteristics and molecular phylogenetic analyses using ITS and nrLSU sequences, three new species named Micropsalliota delicatula, M. dentatomarginata and M. digitatocystis are introduced from China. Phylogenetc analyses results indicated the unique phylogenetic positions of three new species in Micropsalliota. Full descriptions, photo plates, illustrations and a phylogenetic tree to show the placement of three new species are presented.

Six species of Copidosoma (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae) from Southwestern China are reviewed, including three new species (C. heinitane sp. nov., C. linzhiensis sp. nov., C. longchuane sp. nov.) and two species newly recorded from China (C. longiclavatum Kazmi & Hayat and C. recurvariae Sharkov). Copidosoma serricorne (Dalman) is newly recorded from Xizang, southwestern part of China. A key to all the Chinese species of the genus based on females is given.
