AbstractBounded and compact differences of two composition operators acting from the weighted Bergman space $$A^p_\omega $$ A ω p to the Lebesgue space $$L^q_\nu $$ L ν q , where $$0<q<p<\infty $$ 0 < q < p < ∞ and $$\omega $$ ω belongs to the class "Equation missing" of radial weights satisfying two-sided doubling conditions, are characterized. On the way to the proofs a new description of q-Carleson measures for $$A^p_\omega $$ A ω p , with $$p>q$$ p > q and "Equation missing", involving pseudohyperbolic discs is established. This last-mentioned result generalizes the well-known characterization of q-Carleson measures for the classical weighted Bergman space $$A^p_\alpha $$ A α p with $$-1<\alpha <\infty $$ - 1 < α < ∞ to the setting of doubling weights. The case "Equation missing" is also briefly discussed and an open problem concerning this case is posed.

We present an overview of the known results describing the isometric and closed-range composition operators on different types of holomorphic function spaces. We add new results and give a complete characterization of the isometric univalently induced composition operators acting between Bloch-type spaces. We also add few results on the closed-range determination of composition operators on Bloch-type spaces and present the problems that are still open.

Let X be a non-empty set and let H(X) denote a Hibert space of complex-valued functions on X. Let T be a mapping from X to X and θ a mapping from X to C such that for all f in H(X), f ° T is in H(x) and the mappings CT taking f to f ° T and M taking f to θ.f are bounded linear operators on H(X). Then the operator CTMθ is called a weighted composition operator on H(X). This note is a report on the characterization of weighted composition operators on functional Hilbert spaces and the computation of the adjoint of such operators on L2 of an atomic measure space. Also the Fredholm criteria are discussed for such classes of operators.

Abstract. Given a positive continuous function μ on the interval 0 < t ≤ 1, we consider the space of so-called μ-Bloch functions on the unit ball. If μ(t ) = t, these are the classical Bloch functions. For μ, we define a metric Fμz (u) in terms of which we give a characterization of μ-Bloch functions. Then, necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained in order that a composition operator be a bounded or compact operator between these generalized Bloch spaces. Our results extend those of Zhang and Xiao.

In this paper, we obtain a characterization of boundedness and compactness of weighted fractional differentiation composition operator from mixed-norm space Hp,q,ϕ to weighted-type space Hμ∞.

A bounded linear operator $ T $ on a Hilbert space $ H $ is called antinormal if the distance of $ T $ from the set of all normal operators is equal to norm of $ T $. In this paper, we give a complete characterization of antinormal composition operators on $ \ell^2 $, where $ \ell^2 $ is the Hilbert space of all square summable sequences of complex numbers under standard inner product on it.

Let $X$ be a completely regular Hausdorff space, $E$ a Hausdorff locally convex topo­logical vector space, and $V$ a system of weights on $X$. Denote by $CV_b(X, E)$ ($CV_o(X, E)$) the weighted space of all continuous functions $f : X \to E$ such that $vf (X)$ is bounded in $E$ (respectively, $vf$ vanishes at infinity on $X$) for all $v \in V$. In this paper, we give an improved characterization of weighted composition operators on $CV_b(X, E)$ and present a linear dynamical system induced by composition operators on the metrizable weighted space $CV_o(\mathbb{R}, E)$.
