Annotation: The article analyzes the main tools for collecting, processing and analyzing the information necessary for the preparation of research papers, research papers and articles in science journalism. The authors classified the database storing primary and secondary scientific information, describes how to access these international information systems. Among them are allocated the largest and most influential scientometric and bibliographic databases, such as the Web of Science and its components, the system Scopus, Google Scholar, the domestic development of scientometric eLIBRARY, and a number of narrow-profile international databases dedicated to the search of scientific information.

Focusing on pathophysiology, prevention, and treatment of ischemic wounds is apriority for medical and basic scientists in order to develop new clinical approaches. However it is not always easy for researchers to choose optimal animal models for their particular assessments. This review provides concise information on all currently available ischemic animal models, including rabbits’ ear ischemic models, axial skin flaps (axial pattern flaps), burns, ischemic limbs, localized ischemic wounds, pressure ulcers, and skin flaps, along with their citations as a measure of their acceptance among other researchers. We searched the numerous databases consisting of PubMed, Scopus, Science Direct, and Google Scholar. Key words included ischemic wound, skin, and animals alone or in combination. Some important features of the seven types of ischemia as well as their results are presented in Tables 1 -7. Table eight presents the results of entire groups of ischemic animal models, with their number of papers, number of wounds, and total and average Google Scholar citations, and web of science citations. We found that rabbits’ ear ischemic models, localized ischemic wounds, and pressure ulcers have the highest total and average citations amongst the studied groups. It was concluded that the rabbits’ ear ischemic model, rat pressure ulcer models, and localized ischemic wound models, have made the greatest contribution to our understanding of the pathophysiology of the ischemic wounds and increased production of new therapeutic protocols based on the citations reported by Google scholar and the web of science databases between 1977 and 2017.

Sharing economy research has risen exponentially during the last 4 years. Although several theoretical revisions on this topic have been developed, a conceptual analysis based on bibliometric techniques and science mapping tools is lacking. Within this framework, this article has two aims: (i) to carry on a performance analysis to identify the outstanding themes and (ii) to visually present the scientific structure by topics of research in sharing-collaborative economy as well as its evolution to identify future directions. The resources in the Web of Science Citation Index were used. Intelligent techniques and, more specifically, the SciMAT tool (based on co-word analysis and h-index analysis) were applied using a sample of 940 indexed papers from 2010 to 2020 (with 10.652 global citations). Our results show that the new post-pandemic era requires the sharing economy industry to investigate alternative ways: to improve trust, to innovate, to search for authenticity and experiences, to attend tourist motivations based on sustainability, and to use big data and manage overtourism.

AbstractCitation analysis of a certain publication acknowledges its impact on the scientific community. This study conducted a multivariate analysis of the top 50 most cited articles published on the field of Bioactive Glass. A systemic search was performed using the “All database” section of the Web of Science to retrieve the top 50 most cited original publications. The selected articles were then manually cross-matched with Elsevier Scopus and Google Scholar Database. Parameters such as article title, authorship, institution, country of publication, year, citation count, citation density, current citation index, and journal name were retrieved from Web of Science. Different ranges of citation numbers were retrieved for these publications in which 197-913 are from Web of Science, 209-962 are from Elsevier Scopus, and 269-1225 are from Google Scholar. A total of 153 authors contributed to this marked list, where Professor L.L. Hench contributed the highest number of articles (n=21). Imperial College London published the highest number of articles (n=21). In summary, this study provides a good scientometric picture of bioactive glass related publications, which illustrate the trend of biomaterials development over the years and suggests future scopes to the scientific community.
