Information technology (IT) is essential in supporting an organization's business sustainability and growth, making it critically dependent on IT. Therefore, a focus on IT governance, consisting of leadership, organizational structure, and process ensuring that IT organization supports and expands the organizational strategies and goals is required. When the business supports the strategic significance of IT investment, the implementation of an IT strategy will lead to the adoption of an IT governance model. It will support and help the description of the benefit roles and responsibilities from IT systems and infrastructure. This paper aims to develop a business process monitoring system to support IT governance in improving user service and measuring organizational performance. The research method was the system development method with the Waterfall model. To measure the performance of the business process, the self-assessment method with performance matrix tools was applied. The study resulted in a business process monitoring system that can enhance the organization’s primary business process in services, supporting the said organization’s performance.

The aim of this research is to propose and develop the in-process monitoring system of the tool wear for the carbon steel (S45C) in CNC turning process by utilizing the multi-sensor which are the force sensor, the sound sensor, the accelerometer sensor and the acoustic emission sensor. The progress of the tool wear results in the larger cutting force, the higher amplitude of the acceleration signal, and the higher power spectrum densities of sound and acoustic emission signals. Hence, their signals have been integrated via the neural network with the back propagation technique to monitor the tool wear. The experimentally obtained results showed that the in-process monitoring system proposed and developed in this research can be effectively used to estimate the tool wear level with the higher accuracy and reliability.

Coal mine is important and basic industries in the country, and it is very important to establish a sound, reliable coal mine safety monitoring system for the safety production of coal mine. The demand analysis was made for the development of coal mine safety monitoring system. It contains to build up the layout model of the standard coal mine underground production environment and set all kinds of underground transducers especially methane transducer. On this basis, the general design scheme of coal mine safety monitoring system was determined. Demand analysis and scheme design provided for coal mine safety monitoring system can meet the needs of practical application and establish the foundation for the subsequent system development.
