A magnetic gearbox with a three-phase stator winding, powered by a static frequency converter with a sinusoidal current, which is in phase or in antiphase with the EMF of the idling winding, will have in this mode the maximum values of the electromagnetic moments of the shafts proportional to the stator current. Such a gearbox will have no “overturning” of the rotors as long as the frequency converter is able to increase its current with increasing load. The electromagnetic moments of the rotors of the magnetic gear are a consequence of the presence of the electromagnetic moment of the stator. The electromagnetic moments of the rotors are rigidly related to the electromagnetic moment of the stator through constant coefficients. A mathematical model of an adjustable magnetic gearbox with a three-phase stator winding and the results of modeling a dynamic system are presented. Offers the structure of the output shaft speed stabilization system, such as a wind turbine. The introduction of the main research results is illustrated.

Current and electromagnetic moments of synchronous and asynchronous motors need to be below the starting values when such motors are self-starting after triggering a high-speed automatic transfer switch; this is the subject matter of this paper. A mathematical model is applied herein to find the range of permissible angle of backup power fed to asynchronous and synchronous motors exposed to short-term power deviations; the range is a function of the angle between the residual voltage of the main power supply and the voltage of the backup. The paper further proposes methods of switching to backup power that keep the currents and electromagnetic moments of self-starting motors below the starting values; these methods can be implemented in high-speed automatic transfer switch (ATS) microprocessors. Bench testing and mathematical modeling prove the proposed methods effective.

In many shell model interactions, the tensor force monopole matrix elements often retain systematic trends originating in the bare tensor force. However, in this work, we find that Isospin [Formula: see text] tensor force monopole matrix elements of widely used p-shell effective interaction CK(8–16) do not share these systematic. We correct these discrepancies by modifying [Formula: see text] tensor force two-body matrix elements (TBMEs) of CK(8–16) by the analytically calculated tensor force TBMEs. With some additional modification of single-particle energies and TBMEs, the revised effective interaction is named as CKN. The effective interaction CKN has been tested for the calculations of p-shell nuclei of normal parity states from various physics viewpoints such as excitation spectra, electromagnetic moments, and electromagnetic and Gamow–Teller (GT) transitions. The obtained results are found to be satisfactory with respect to the experimental results.

A web–based database of nuclear electromagnetic moments data has been created and hosted online at the University of Athens since 2012. In this work, we report on an update which has focused on syncing spectroscopic information, electric quadrupole and magnetic dipole moments with the ENSDF database and literature values. A new feature is the incorporation of nuclear charge radii values obtained after 2015. Additionally, instructions of how to use the database, alongside with annonations and abbreviations, are presented.

The new way of control by speed the asynchronous electric drive with the phase-wound rotor is offered. A static conditions of work are considered, expressions for calculation of the electromagnetic moments, factors of capacities and other power parameters are given.
