Bedforms are key components of Earth surfaces and yet their evaluation typically relies on manual measurements that are challenging to reproduce. Several methods exist to automate their identification and calculate their metrics, but they often exhibit limitations where applied at large scales. This paper presents an innovative workflow for identifying and measuring individual depositional bedforms. The workflow relies on the identification of local minima and maxima that are grouped by neighbourhood analysis and calibrated using curvature. The method was trialed using a synthetic digital elevation model and two bathymetry surveys from Australia’s northwest marine region, resulting in the identification of nearly 2000 bedforms. The comparison of the metrics calculated for each individual feature with manual measurements show differences of less than 10%, indicating the robustness of the workflow. The cross-comparison of the metrics resulted in the definition of several sub-types of bedforms, including sandwaves and palaeoshorelines, that were then correlated with oceanic conditions, further corroborating the validity of the workflow. Results from this study support the idea that the use of automated methods to characterise bedforms should be further developed and that the integration of automated measurements at large scales will support the development of new classification charts that currently rely solely on manual measurements.

Abstract. Nowadays, people easily can get into their cars and drive hundreds of kilometers in a few hours, but for that to work efficiently a system of rules must be applied and those rules have to be communicated transparently. This is why traffic signs are an influential part of our lives and every kind of information about each is helping the government, the community, and the drivers. This paper presents a novel and cost-efficient method for acquiring information on traffic signs, such like the category and the 3D position. The former can be gained using camera images and a Convolutional Neural Network model. The latter can be obtained using positioning devices. With the help of a GNSS device the absolute position of the vehicle can be learned and based on that a local coordinate system can be established. From the vehicle’s point of view the coordinates and the orientation of the traffic sign can be acquired by applying a stereo camera and an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) sensor. Then, with the help of these attributes a large database can be built, maintained, and updated. This project displays that adequately precise data can easily be accessible using a few cheap devices and sensors.

At present, enhancing the understanding of the importance of the development of cultural and creative industries and grasping the future development trends of the whole society has become the primary issue for the development of this industry in our country. The main work of this paper is based on the interactive innovation research of visual sensor Maya-Unity animation simulation in film and television animation. Maya Unity puts the required lights on the model, adds texture materials, etc., selects all objects, and uses the “Mesh- > Combine” command. Then, open “Create UV->Automatic Mapping” for these objects to perform the UV operation. Open “Window-> UV Texture Editor” and check the new UV for baking. First, the article introduces an overview of the development of cultural and creative industries and the application status of virtual simulation technology in film and television animation. Then, the article introduces the characteristics of visual sensors and interactive design ideas. The scene view displays the document from a graphical perspective, while the code view displays the text content of the document. Both views must be displayed in the split window Dreamer, and only one view can be displayed at the same time; so, it is necessary to establish a button for scene and code switching. The animation scene will change with the passage of time following the development of the story. Therefore, in the lighting design, the animation changes of light intensity and color temperature should be produced. The time to complete a frame of image matching is 135 ms, and to complete a feature measurement, 8 frames of images are used for template matching, and then the average coordinate value is calculated, which takes about 135 × 8 = 1080   ms , which meets the system requirements. The main effect of the text effect is very significant, F = 13.780 , P < 0.001 . Comparison of effect between development and middle to two sides, P = 0.02 , P < 0.05 . The results show that the use of Maya-Unity software for animation simulation can make the rendering of the animation more beautiful.

Abstract In order to solve the problems of long development time, poor expansibility and small application scope in the digital design of secondary system of intelligent substation at present, this paper puts forward the 3D assembly techniques based on the expanded model by analyzing the integration of secondary model files of intelligent substation. In the design process of this method, the relationship between primary equipment and secondary equipment, the mapping between logical circuit and real circuit are fully considered. By using standard family library techniques, file analysis techniques and automatic mapping techniques, the coupling between physical model and logical relationship is realized. Taking the actual 220kV intelligent substation as the pilot, the three-dimensional model in secondary system simulation analysis, online monitoring and the application of fault diagnosis shows that the techniques can effectively improve the efficiency of three-dimensional design and maintenance of secondary system.
