Face recognition technology has widely attracted attention due to its enormous application value and market potential. It is being implemented in various fields like security system, digital video processing and many such technological advances. Additionally, music is the form of art, which is known to have a greater connection with a person’s emotion. It has got an unique ability to lift up one’s mood. Relatively, this paper focuses on building an efficient music recommendation system which determines the emotion of user using Facial Recognition techniques. The algorithm implemented would prove to be more proficient than the existing systems. Moreover, on a larger dimension, this would render salvage of time and labor invested in performing the process manually. The overall concept of the system is to recognize facial emotion and recommend songs efficiently. The proposed system will be both time and cost efficient.

The goal of this study is to design and implement a new idea for air-launched quadcopter control unit using the digital video processing. In this study, it’s endeavored to transmit the captured videos by a camera embedded on the quadcopter via video transceiver and after pro-cessing, the ground station relays appropriate command to the quadcopter to tracking target. Moreover, it’s desired to detect a target in the sky and both stay in one direction until detect the target when intercepting toward the target and the quadcopter intercepts the target in every direction. In order to identify the type of aerial targets, the dimensions are studied at different intervals, which makes military and non - military goals detected at different intervals.

Machine Safety is a growing technical discipline with a strong basis in the development of electrical and electronic devices, commonly known as Safety Protective Devices (SPDs). SPDs are designed to avoid or at least mitigate those risks associated with a particular human-machinery interaction. Ranging from conceptually simple electromechanical Emergency Stop Devices (ESDs) to the more complex Active Optoelectronic Protective Devices (AOPDs), a place for Real-Time Digital Video Processing has recently been open for research in Machine Safety. This chapter is intended to explore the standardized features of the so-called Vision-Based Protective Devices (VBPDs), their current technical development and principal applications in Machine Safety, with a stress on prominent vision-related implementation issues.
