To generate three-dimensional (3D) patterned spacer structures with non-continuous jacquard appearance in two colors, such as the yarn-cutting style, this paper attempts to propose a novel 3D patterning method based on the single jacquard technique. Two sets of jacquard threads are spaced apart and threaded in split bars as two patterning systems with separate colors. Then, for independent patterns, each single loop should be able to be selectively observable on patterned layers and hidden in the spacer layer. Cases of continuous jacquard loops and zero-loop ones in both course and wale directions are to be solved based on the characteristic of one-wale left offset. Besides, by differing the moment when offset occurs, jacquard threads are transferred from stitching on both layers to a single or zero layer, thus enabling one to hide jacquard loops in non-patterning areas. This approach theoretically brings new patterning possibilities to 3D spacer structures with the single jacquard technique.

AbstractCoulomb drag in double layer graphene systems separated by an h-BN interlayer allows probing of the electron-electron interactions in the effective limit of zero layer separation. Although these interactions can be influenced by plasmons, phonons and exchange and correlation effects, these excitations have never been studied altogether, missing the effects of their coupling on the drag physics. Here we study theoretically the effects of these quasiparticles and their coupling, including also the effects of the electronic exchange and correlation, and demonstrate that the drag resistivity can attain a maximum value at room temperature and beyond, where hybridized plasmon-phonon modes contribute significantly. In particular, the hybridization of the plasmons with the hyperbolic phonons of h-BN, confined within the reststrahlen bands, enhance the drag resistivity. This study paves the way for the exploration of novel many-body physics phenomena in systems coupled through emerging 2D hyperbolic materials.

The application of quick-setting adhesives based on cyanoacrylates is considerably spread in technical practice. The limit of these adhesives is the 'zero layer' of the adhesive. The advantage is in the speed of hardening process. A fast creation of bond, minimalizing of fixation means, and the possibility of fast manipulation with the adhesive bond are connected with that. The goal of the research is to describe the behaviour of quick-setting adhesives based on cyanoacrylates at different speed of deformation of adhesive bonds in the interval from 1 mm.min-1 to 48 mm.min-1. The change of adhesive bond strength, deformation and failure time were evaluated in experiments. A 3D model was set from experiment results by means of the least-square method.

The Cauchy problem for a simplified shallow elastic fluids model, one3×3system of Temple’s type, is studied and a global weak solution is obtained by using the compensated compactness theorem coupled with the total variation estimates on the first and third Riemann invariants, where the second Riemann invariant is singular near the zero layer depthρ=0. This work extends in some sense the previous works, (Serre, 1987) and (Leveque and Temple, 1985), which provided the global existence of weak solutions for2×2strictly hyperbolic system and (Heibig, 1994) forn×nstrictly hyperbolic system with smooth Riemann invariants.
