With the popularization of visual object tracking (VOT), more and more trajectory data are obtained and have begun to gain widespread attention in the fields of mobile robots, intelligent video surveillance, and the like. How to clean the anomalous trajectories hidden in the massive data has become one of the research hotspots. Anomalous trajectories should be detected and cleaned before the trajectory data can be effectively used. In this article, a Trajectory Evaluator by Sub-tracks (TES) for detecting VOT-based anomalous trajectory is proposed. Feature of Anomalousness is defined and described as the Eigenvector of classifier to filter Track Lets anomalous trajectory and IDentity Switch anomalous trajectory, which includes Feature of Anomalous Pose and Feature of Anomalous Sub-tracks (FAS). In the comparative experiments, TES achieves better results on different scenes than state-of-the-art methods. Moreover, FAS makes better performance than point flow, least square method fitting and Chebyshev Polynomial Fitting. It is verified that TES is more accurate and effective and is conducive to the sub-tracks trajectory data analysis.

AbstractIncreasing domestic solid waste (DSW) is becoming one of the most serious challenges for city and regional environment. As an epitome of the society, the investigation on the influencing factors and reduction of DSW of university students can not only provide policy suggestions for the waste management in the university campus, but also can achieve demonstration effect to other communities due to its high social status and wide impacts. This research combined direct weighing, questionnaire surveys, and regression analysis to quantify the influencing factors of DSW at East China Normal University’s dormitory in Shanghai. Direct weighting and questionnaire survey were conducted in 112 randomly selected dormitory rooms. Totally 523 valid questionnaires were collected. It is found that the average waste generation was 0.275 kg/day/cap, in which residual waste accounted for 64% of total, followed by household food waste (29%), and recyclable waste (7%). Regressions based on ordinary least square method suggested that students’ attitude towards waste played the most important role in affecting the waste reduction with its elasticity − 0.195. Lower educational level and better financial condition would lead to more waste generation, whose elasticity was 0.148 and 0.098 respectively. The influences of gender and major varied from waste types. Policies implications for university administration departments for sustainable waste and resource management include developing personalized and humanized waste management policies, enhancing environmental awareness through diverse educational activities, and expanding the publicity role of campus cultural activities on waste reduction.

In this paper, adaptive immune algorithm based on a global search strategy (AIAGS) and auxiliary model recursive least square method (AMRLS) are used to identify the multiple-input multiple-output fractional-order Hammerstein model. The model’s nonlinear parameters, linear parameters, and fractional order are unknown. The identification step is to use AIAGS to find the initial values of model coefficients and order at first, then bring the initial values into AMRLS to identify the coefficients and order of the model in turn. The expression of the linear block is the transfer function of the differential equation. By changing the stimulation function of the original algorithm, adopting the global search strategy before the local search strategy in the mutation operation, and adopting the parallel mechanism, AIAGS further strengthens the original algorithm’s optimization ability. The experimental results show that the proposed method is effective.

The algorithms used by schedulers depend on the complexity of the schedule and constraints for each problem. The position and movement of badminton players in badminton doubles competition is one of the key factors to improve the athletes’ transition efficiency of offense and defense and the rate of winning matches and to save energy consumption. From the perspective of basic theory, the author conducts research on the position and movement of badminton doubles. Based on the numerical analysis method, the optimal model of standing position and direction composed of 7 nonlinear equations is established. In addition, the final of 10 matches of the super series of the world badminton federation in 2019 was selected as the sample of speed parameters. With the help of MATLAB mathematical analysis software, the numerical model established by the least square method was adopted to optimize the specific standing position and walking model. Ultimately, the optimal solution has been obtained, which can be represented on a plane graph. The optimal position of the attack station should be the blocking area (saddle-shaped area) and the hanging area (circular arc area in the middle). The optimal defensive positioning should be left defensive positioning area (left front triangle area) and right defensive positioning area (right front triangle area), which is consistent with our current experience and research results. The research results use mathematical tools to calculate the accurate optimal position in doubles matches, which has guiding significance to the choice of athletes’ position and walking position in actual combat and can also be used as a reference for training, providing a certain theoretical basis for the standing and walking of badminton doubles confrontation. The data collection and operation methods in this study can provide better calculation materials for artificial intelligence optimization and fuzzy operation of motion displacement, which is of great significance in the field of motion, simulation, and the call of parametric functions.

In the robot contact operation, the robot relies on the multi-dimensional force/torque sensor installed at the end to sense the external contact force. When the effective load and speed of the robot are large, the gravity/inertial force generated by it will have a non-negligible impact on the output of the force sensor, which will seriously affect the accuracy and effect of the force control. The existing identification algorithm time is often longer, which also affects the efficiency of force control operations. In this paper, a self-developed multi-dimensional force sensor with integrated gravity/inertial force sensing function is used to directly measure the resultant force. Further, a method for the rapid identification of payload based on excitation trajectory is proposed. Firstly, both a gravity compensation algorithm and an inertial force compensation algorithm are introduced. Secondly, the optimal spatial recognition pose based on the excitation trajectory was designed, and the excitation trajectory of each joint is represented by a finite Fourier series. The least square method is used to calculate the identification parameters of the load, the gravity, and inertial force. Finally, the experiment was verified on the robot. The experimental results show that the algorithm can quickly identify the payload, and it is faster and more accurate than other algorithms.

The presence of a differential mechanism is fundamental in most automotive applications. Its importance stems from allowing a vehicle to take a curve. The differential should be well-lubricated to ensure its smooth operation and mitigate its vibration level. With lubrication conditions deteriorating over time, the sliding friction coefficient becomes difficult to predict its accurate value. Thus, scrutinizing the dynamic performance of the mechanism with deterministic sliding friction can be misleading. This paper aims to investigate the dynamic performance of the automotive differential with the presence of interval sliding friction. To this end, a 3D dimensional model of automotive differential with time-varying mesh stiffness (TVMS) and bearing flexibility is proposed. The influence of sliding friction on TVMS for straight bevel gear is revealed. The Newton-Euler formulation is used to derive the dynamic equations governing the motions of the automotive differential with friction. The Chebyshev inclusion function and the least square method are used to deal with the interval mathematical formulation of the model. The scanning method is used as a reference method in this paper. There are quite similarities between the results derived by the scanning method and that of the interval process method. The reliability analysis of the differential is conducted. The outcome of this research shows that any variation of the sliding friction can alter the dynamic performance of the differential significantly. The differential is more sensitive to the friction coefficient between the ring gear and the drive pinion and between the left-side gear and two planets. The findings should make an important contribution to the analysis of the differential mechanism.

Bond markets have grown mature in many countries; however, the quality of financial integration varies across ASEAN economies. In the case of bond markets in the ASEAN +3, they experienced fast development; however, they are still less integrated. This study attempts to examine the ramifications of the ASEAN bond market integration and past crises to the Philippines’ inflation, credit, and growth and identify what impedes the development of the bond market for the period of 1992 to 2017. The study also aims to have a more in-depth analysis on preventing rises from happening and controlling both credit expansions and inflationary pressures. The Ordinary Least Square method (OLS) was used to examine the relationship of inflation, credit, bond market index, real interest rate, and integration to the Philippines’ growth. This led to this paper providing empirical insights that credit has a significant positive relationship with GDP growth; while, inflation has a significant negative relationship with GDP growth. However, the bond market index and integration showed insignificant negative results. This study provides possible reasons for the said conclusion and suggests ways not only to develop and grow the debt market in the Philippines but also to sustain long-run economic stability and growth to become on par with other ASEAN economies.

Abstract The use of energy, especially electrical power, is needed by the wider community— lots of alternative energy from nature, especially in Indonesia that can be utilized to produce electricity. One of the newest alternative examples is the energy produced by tides. Tidal energy is a type of renewable energy that is relatively more predictable in number. One method that can process the waves is the Least Square Method. Where the results of data processing using this method can be known based on tidal observations for 15 days on Toaya Beach located in Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi, the types of tidal types that occur based on the results of Formzahl’s count is 0.357 that the tidal types that occur are varied types leaning to double daily, with a Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) of 0.028, which means that the difference between predictive results and observational data is accurate. Then also obtained the value of the design water level elevation that is the highest high water level (HHWL) is 2.7 meters, and the lowest low water level (LLWL) is -0.3 meters with a height difference is 3.0 meters. So with the high height difference, the total energy generated by two times a day with a sea area of 9 km2 which is capable of producing energy movement from seawater can be calculated the potential energy generated from the waves of Toaya Beach, which is 5,53 MW.
