ABSTRACT Objectives: to analyze vaccine losses in a Health Region in the Northwest of São Paulo. Methods: retrospective cross-sectional study with secondary data obtained from Temperature Change Notification Forms used by the Epidemiological Surveillance Group XXIX of São José do Rio Preto between 2010 and 2017. Descriptive and inferential analysis were performed using multiple linear regression and significance level of 95%. Results: in total, 341 notifications of temperature changes were analyzed, of which 70.1% were caused by structural reasons, 57.8% in industrial refrigerators and 91.2% in primary care services. Of the doses that suffered a change in temperature, 41.4% were lost and 58.6% were administered to the population. The highest percentage of lost doses compared to those applied occurred in smaller municipalities, although they reported less. Conclusions: nursing workers who work in vaccination rooms should make efforts to prevent temperature changes and avoid losses and higher public expenses.

This paper studies how to publish the change events of CIM model using OPC UA, and proposes a method to publish CIM model change events using OPC UA based on mapping CIM model to OPC UA address space. By comparing with the CIS GDA model change notification service function in the legacy CIS interface, it is confirmed that the OPC UA service completely covers the original CIS GDA model change notification service function. Base-Model-Change-Event-Type and the more detailed General-Model-Change-Event-Type, Semantic-Change-Event-Type are used to provide appropriate model change information for clients through OPC UA Event service. CIM model change events in data platform of distribution grid and utilization system are published using OPC UA, the research results have been verified.

This paper presents an industry case study investigating change propagation due to requirement changes. This paper makes use of a change propagation prediction tool, ΔDSM, to identify if the propagated changes could have been identified and predicted. The study used an automation firm’s client project as the study subject. The project entailed 160 requirements, changing over the span of 15 month. Engineering change notifications were developed for each change and documented under the firm’s data management system. This study makes use of the change notifications to identify if any of the change were as a result of a previous change. The findings of this paper indicated the changes that occurred could have been predicted as the ΔDSM was able to predict affected requirements. This was identified by finding subsequent requirements in the engineering change notification documentation that the ΔDSM indicated might change.
