The problems of Timoshenko beams and plates lateral vibrations under the influence of unsteady loads are considered. Both beam and plate is supposed to be unlimited. In case of the plate the problem has been simply studied. The approach to the solution was based on dominant function method and principle of superposition. Integral models of solutions with cores as dominant functions were built which could be analytically found with the help of the Fourier and Laplace integral transforms. Two original analytical methods for Fourier and Laplace transforms were offered and realized. The examples of calculations were given.

In this work, the author will briefly discuss applications of the Fourier and Laplace transforms in the solution of certain singular integral equations and evaluation of integrals. By combining integral transforms and operational methods we get more powerful analytical tool for solving a wide class of linear or even non- linear fractional differential or fractional partial differential equation. Numerous examples and exercises occur throughout the paper.

The heat conduction equations with Caputo fractional derivative are considered in two joint half-planes under the conditions of perfect thermal contact. The fundamental solution to the Cauchy problem as well as the fundamental solution to the source problem are examined. The Fourier and Laplace transforms are employed. The Fourier transforms are inverted analytically, whereas the Laplace transform is inverted numerically using the Gaver–Stehfest method. We give a graphical representation of the numerical results.
