Let [Formula: see text] denote the variety generated by infinite-dimensional Grassmann algebras, i.e. the collection of all unitary associative algebras satisfying the identity [Formula: see text], where [Formula: see text]. Consider the free algebra [Formula: see text] in [Formula: see text] generated by [Formula: see text]. We call a polynomial [Formula: see text] symmetric if it is preserved under the action of the symmetric group [Formula: see text] on generators, i.e. [Formula: see text] for each permutation [Formula: see text]. The set of symmetric polynomials forms the subalgebra [Formula: see text] of invariants of the group [Formula: see text] in [Formula: see text]. The commutator ideal [Formula: see text] of the algebra [Formula: see text] has a natural left [Formula: see text]-module structure, and [Formula: see text] is a left [Formula: see text]-module. We give a finite free generating set for the [Formula: see text]-module [Formula: see text].

"Let G be the infinite dimensional Grassmann algebra. In this study, we determine a subgroup of the automorphism group Aut(G) of the algebra G which is of an importance in the description of the group Aut(G). We give an infinite generating set for this subgroup and suggest an algorithm which shows how to express each automorphism as compositions of generating elements."

We provide a new approach to the investigation of maximal commutative subalgebras (with respect to inclusion) of Grassmann algebras. We show that finding a maximal commutative subalgebra in Grassmann algebras is equivalent to constructing an intersecting family of subsets of various odd sizes in [Formula: see text] which satisfies certain combinatorial conditions. Then we find new maximal commutative subalgebras in the Grassmann algebra of odd rank [Formula: see text] by constructing such combinatorial systems for odd [Formula: see text]. These constructions provide counterexamples to conjectures made by Domoskos and Zubor.

The differential calculus, including formalism of linear differential operators and the Chevalley–Eilenberg differential calculus, overN-graded commutative rings and onN-graded manifolds is developed. This is a straightforward generalization of the conventional differential calculus over commutative rings and also is the case of the differential calculus over Grassmann algebras and onZ2-graded manifolds. We follow the notion of anN-graded manifold as a local-ringed space whose body is a smooth manifoldZ. A key point is that the graded derivation module of the structure ring of graded functions on anN-graded manifold is the structure ring of global sections of a certain smooth vector bundle over its bodyZ. Accordingly, the Chevalley–Eilenberg differential calculus on anN-graded manifold provides it with the de Rham complex of graded differential forms. This fact enables us to extend the differential calculus onN-graded manifolds to formalism of nonlinear differential operators, by analogy with that on smooth manifolds, in terms of graded jet manifolds ofN-graded bundles.
