In this paper, property research of silk fibroin nanofibers by electrospinning dissolved in CaCl2-Formid Acid was discussed. The dissolve process, morphology, structure and mechanical properties of fibers were studied. It showed that more dissolution time was needed to dissolve silk with 1% CaCl2. The diameters of silk fibroin nanofibers decreased with the CaCl2 contents increased and the surface of 6%5% fibers was more uniform and smooth. After ethanol treatment, strong peak at 1628cm-1, 1517cm-1 and 1231cm-1 was corresponding to β-sheet. It was important to discover that silk fibroin was weakly destroyed in CaCl2-FA solvent system, and the regenerated silk fibroin nanofibers had better mechanical properties. The stress of 6%5% fibers was nearly 3 times to traditional way. With different content of CaCl2, the stress of 6%5% fibers was nearly 2 times to 6%1% fibers.

Paper surface efficiency (PSE), a paper property integrating gloss and absorbency, can be used to evaluate color reproduction after the interaction of paper and ink. But it was shown that the color reproduction was still related to paper whiteness in practice. In this paper, an assumed PSE formula which integrates gloss, whiteness and ink absorbency is firstly presented, and according to experimental data, it can be well forecasted that the change of these principal paper properties would affect color reproduction result via the new PSE formula. The linear relationships between new PSE formula and ink color reproduction based the description of photo-density measurement were studied subsequently. The results showed that new PSE formula can be used to predict effectively ink color effect.

Gray balance is the basic and critical control parameters of color reproduction, which plays important rule as lever in color reproduction which balance the correlation of material characters and process control parameters. This paper focused on investigation about gray balance data variation caused by slight chromaticity deviation of printing material. In the experiment the creation procedure of gray balance curve was simulated by EPSON Stylus Pro7880c ink-jet printer, and delivered curves were compared with each other. Accordingly the tone value variation of primary color was analyzed in terms of chromaticity deviation of paper. Meanwhile the variation tendency of gray balance impacted by ink and paper property was qualitatively discussed according to data comparison with G7 method. Results show that tone value of Y is so sensitive to paper chromaticity deviation that even the dominant relation between Y and M tone will be altered. At the same time, the more the ink and paper property coincide with ISO standard, the more curve of gray balance curve coincide with theoretically ideal value.

Paper surface efficiency (PSE), a paper property integrating gloss and absorbency, can be used to evaluate color reproduction after the interaction of paper and ink. But it was shown that the color reproduction was still related to paper whiteness in practice. So it is important to amend the PSE formula. In this paper, an assumed PSE formula which integrates gloss, whiteness and ink absorbency is firstly presented, and according to experimental data, it can be well forecasted that the change of these principal paper properties would affect color reproduction result via the new PSE formula. The data connection between the assumed and new PSE formula and ink color reproduction based the description of photo-density measurement and chromatic one was studied subsequently. The results showed that photo-density measurement was simpler and more practical than chromatic measurement.
