The article presents the results of a dynamic analysis of the satisfaction of patients diagnosed with CAVID‑19 with the quality of medical services provided remotely at the telemedicine centre in Moscow in 2020.Purpose of research. Conduct a dynamic assessment of patient satisfaction with the quality of remote medical services provided in different time periods.Material and methods. The results of an anonymous survey of 424 patients on the quality of remote medical services were dynamically evaluated. The first group (138) received medical care from 01.04 to 30.04, the second one (286) – from 01.06 to 30.06 of 2020 after the implementation of measures to improve them. Statistical analysis was performed using IBM SPSS Statistics 20.0.Results. When analysing the results, a high level of patient satisfaction was revealed, but there was a significant (p < 0.05) difference in the level of satisfaction between the groups. The factors of connection between telemedicine services and patient satisfaction were identified, which served as the basis for organizational measures.Conclusion. Providing medical services using telemedicine technologies can be considered as one of the most effective ways to provide medical care.

Background: Aesthetic surgeries are performed to improve individual’s satisfaction with their appearance and also to improve their psychological health by improving self-confidence and self-esteem. Our study aimed to ascertain patient satisfaction in regard to nose appearance and function with the use of a validated questionnaire before and after rhinoplasty surgery. Methods: The prospective study was conducted at Department of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, SMS hospital Jaipur India from October 2018 to February 2020. The rhinoplasty outcome evaluation ROE questionnaire was used to study patient’s satisfaction. Patients underwent open rhinoplasty, closed rhinoplasty, primary rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty and additional nasal surgery such as septoplasty as per required. Data were collected from 70 patients before and 6 month after surgery. Results before and after surgery were compared. Results: 70 out of 83 patients completed questionnaires. Most common age group is from 16 to 45 year. Most common reason for rhinoplasty in our study is aesthetic (58.5%), both aesthetic and functional (28.5%), functional (12.8%). Preoperative and postoperative ROE score shows significant improvement after 6 month in functional and aesthetic aspect. Mean preoperative score of all patients were 33.6 and the mean postoperative score were 80.4. Difference in improvement of scores was not significant when groups were divided on the basis of sex, age, concomitant nasal procedure, primary or revision surgery, open or closed rhinoplasty. Conclusions: Rhinoplasty surgery significantly improved patient quality of life regarding nose function and appearance. ROE questionnaire proves reliable equipment for estimating patient satisfaction.

The evaluation of parkinsonian satisfaction and its correlation with the balance are still not established, so it is fundamental to use instruments capable of measuring these aspects. The objective was to verify the satisfaction of Parkinsonians in Group Physiotherapy treatment in the Training Circuit Format (FGCT) and correlate with the balance. The initial evaluation was performed using the Berg Modified Scale (EMB) to evaluate the static and dynamic balance and after the intervention with FGCT, the second evaluation was added the Abbreviated Patient Satisfaction Assessment Scale (SATIS-BR), which analyzes the patients' perception about the aspects of the services received, consisting of quantitative and qualitative questions. Statistical analysis revealed no significant difference in BMS (p = 0.354) and showed a weak correlation between BMS x SATIS-BR (r = 0.057 and p = 0.875). The FGCT was able to maintain the clinical picture in the analyzed population.

Introduction: Open rhinoplasty is a popular method to correct nasal deformities, which is commonly carried out by percutaneous or endonasal techniques. Despite their advantages, these two techniques can also be associated with some disadvantages. The present study was carried out in order to examine the functional and aesthetic outcomes of percutaneous and endonasal osteotomies. Material and Methods: The present comparative study was carried out on 50 patients who underwent percutaneous osteotomy (25 cases) and endonasal osteotomy (25 cases) from August 2018 to September 2019. Before and three days, eight days, and three months after the surgeries, the required data were collected through medical and psychological assessments. Results: According to the results, the mean age of the patients was 28.7±6.5 years, and most of them were females with a female-to-male ratio of 4:1. It was also concluded that percutaneous and endonasal lateral osteotomies were not significantly different in terms of the postsurgical pain felt by the patients, epistaxis, skin scars 21 days and three months after the rhinoplasty, nasal obstruction, closing the open roof deformity, state of correction, patient satisfaction, age, and gender (p>0.05). However, they were significantly different regarding periorbital edema, periorbital ecchymosis, and skin scars during the first eight days after the surgery (p<0.05). Conclusion: Both percutaneous and endonasal lateral osteotomies were found to be useful methods to carry out rhinoplasty because both led to acceptable functional and aesthetic results regarding decreased pain, epistaxis, periorbital edema and ecchymosis, skin scar, nasal obstruction, closing the open roof deformity, and nasal deviation correction and increased patient satisfaction.

Introduction Most cancer patients require a totally implanted central venous catheter (TIVAD) for their treatment. In a previous study, we developed and validated a questionnaire dubbed QASICC (Questionnaire for Acceptance of, and Satisfaction with, Implanted Central Venous Catheter) assessing patient satisfaction with, and acceptance of, their TIVAD. In the present study, we conducted a large, prospective, multicenter study in cancer patients aimed to analyze factors that could influence patients’ acceptance of, and satisfaction with, their device. Methods The QASICC is composed of 22 items assessing 5 dimensions. The construction and validation of the questionnaire was achieved using validated methodology to determine its psychometric characteristics. The questionnaire was submitted to 720 patients in 11 French institutions; 567 answers were analyzed. Results Younger patients had the most difficulties in coping with their TIVAD, especially regarding daily activities and their body image and private life compared to older patients. Sex was significantly related to patient satisfaction, with worse scores in women. Breast tumor location was also correlated with low TIVAD acceptance. TIVAD on the right side also positively influenced satisfaction and acceptance of the device. Conclusions QASICC has proved to be efficient, and to detect known issues regarding daily activities and body image. As our population was mostly composed of women with breast cancer, our results reflect specific aspects of this population. The TIVAD remains generally well-accepted and our questionnaire should help health-care workers to better address the specific needs of their patients based on the answers provided.
