AbstractIn this article we propose a hybrid method based on a local meshless method and the Laplace transform for approximating the solution of linear one dimensional partial differential equations in the sense of the Caputo–Fabrizio fractional derivative. In our numerical scheme the Laplace transform is used to avoid the time stepping procedure, and the local meshless method is used to produce sparse differentiation matrices and avoid the ill conditioning issues resulting in global meshless methods. Our numerical method comprises three steps. In the first step we transform the given equation to an equivalent time independent equation. Secondly the reduced equation is solved via a local meshless method. Finally, the solution of the original equation is obtained via the inverse Laplace transform by representing it as a contour integral in the complex left half plane. The contour integral is then approximated using the trapezoidal rule. The stability and convergence of the method are discussed. The efficiency, efficacy, and accuracy of the proposed method are assessed using four different problems. Numerical approximations of these problems are obtained and validated against exact solutions. The obtained results show that the proposed method can solve such types of problems efficiently.

AbstractThis paper is devoted to introduce a numerical treatment using the generalized Adams-Bashforth-Moulton method for some of the variable-order fractional modeling dynamics problems, such as Riccati and Logistic differential equations. The fractional derivative is described in Caputo variable-order fractional sense. The obtained numerical results of the proposed models show the simplicity and efficiency of the proposed method. Moreover, the convergence order of the method is also estimated numerically.

Some new Gronwall-Bellman type inequalities are presented in this paper. Based on these inequalities, new explicit bounds for the related unknown functions are derived. The inequalities established can also be used as a handy tool in the research of qualitative as well as quantitative analysis for solutions to some fractional differential equations defined in the sense of the modified Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative. For illustrating the validity of the results established, we present some applications for them, in which the boundedness, uniqueness, and continuous dependence on the initial value for the solutions to some certain fractional differential and integral equations are investigated.

In this paper, the nonlinear vibrational behavior of a sandwich plate with embedded viscoelastic material is studied through the use of constitutive equations with fractional derivatives. The studied sandwich structure is consisted of a viscoelastic core that is located between the faces of functionally graded magneto-electro-elastic (FG-MEE). In order to determine the frequency-dependent feature of the viscoelastic layer, four-parameter fractional derivative model is utilized. The material properties of FG-MEE face sheets have been distributed considering the power law scheme along the thickness. In addition, for derivation of the governing equations on the sandwich plate, first-order shear deformation plate theory along with von Karman-type of kinematic nonlinearity are implemented. The derived partial differential equations (PDEs) have been transformed to the ordinary differential equations (ODEs) through the Galerkin method. After that, the nonlinear vibration equations for the sandwich plate have been solved by multiple time scale perturbation technique. Moreover, for evaluating the effect of different parameters such as electric and magnetic fields, fractional order, the ratio of the core-to-face thickness and the power low index on the nonlinear vibration characteristics of sandwich plates with FG-MEE face sheets, the parametric analysis has been performed. The obtained results revealed the enhanced nonlinear natural frequency through an increment in the fractional order. Furthermore, the prominent influence of fractional order on the nonlinear frequency of sandwich plate was declared at the negative electric potential and positive magnetic potential.

The study of nonlinear physical and abstract systems is greatly important in order to determine the behavior of the solutions for Fractional Partial Differential Equations (FPDEs). In this paper, we study the analytical wave solutions of the time-fractional coupled Whitham–Broer–Kaup (WBK) equations under the meaning of conformal fractional derivative. These solutions are derived using the modified extended tanh-function method. Accordingly, different new forms of the solutions are obtained. In order to understand its behavior under varying parameters, we give the visual representations of all the solutions. Finally, the graphs are discussed and a conclusion is given.

This paper investigates and states some properties of conformable fractional derivative, Further Study and applies the series solution for a case of conformable fractional Riccati deferential equation with variable coefficients “which is arising in stochastic games” or “hyperbolic boundary control." Recently, Prof. Roshdi Khalil introduced a new and interesting definition for the C F D, which is simpler than the previous definition in Caputo and Riemann-Liouville. It leads to many extensions of the classical theorems in calculus.

In this paper, some important properties concerning the κ-Hilfer fractional derivative are discussed. Integral transforms for these operators are derived as particular cases of the Jafari transform. These integral transforms are used to derive a fractional version of the fundamental theorem of calculus. Keywords: Integral transforms, Jafari transform, κ-gamma function, κ-beta function, κ-Hilfer fractional derivative, κ-Riesz fractional derivative, κ-fractional operators.
