Refinery safety measures and handling of hazardous materials

The study aimed to identify the hazardous raw materials used in the Teba Manufactureand to indicate the preventive measures to deal with the risk of hazardous materials in the detergent manufactures. To achieve this aim، the researchers used the descriptive analytical approach to describe the preventive measures used in the Teba Manufacture، Analysis and effective planning to deal with the risk of hazardous materials through field visit and direct observation and interviews with stakeholders. The researchers reached a number of results، the most important of which is need for periodic inspection of hazardous facilities. The Manufacture works on the implementation of prevention and safety measures under difficult economic conditions. The researchers recommended to develop risk management mechanisms for hazardous materials in industrial facilities and to provide vapors for the process of manufacturing.

Earthworks are the integral part of any construction work in civil engineering and building construction. The construction activities performed during earthworks include the following: excavation, earthmoving, earth transport, and earth compaction. During earthworks, the excavation site is subject to harmful, flammable, or hazardous materials, damage to underground installations, the collapse of the earth, and many more risks. Therefore, construction work for trenching and excavation requires the implementation of adequate safety measures. This paper discusses the safety measures for workers during earthworks that involve excavations up to and exceeding one meter in depth.

SummaryPraeperitoneal administration of colloidal 198Au complicating the treatment of anascitic ovarian cancer is reported. Typical scintiscans and various clinical findings of muscle necrosis and radiation myositis are described. Administration of larger amount of saline solution preceding the radiogold instillation controlled by simultaneous scintiscanning are suggested as safety measures in patients when no ascitic fluid is present.
