According to the change of resistivity and magnetic permeability of iron load which will influence the resonance frequency in the process of induction heating, this paper presents a frequency tracking system based on the 74HC4046. It can control the output frequency of the power supply in real time, and make the power output frequency to trace the resonance frequency of load. This paper also analyses the phase compensation of the control system, and proposes a new way of phase compensation. The corresponding simulation experiment is done finally. It provides the theory basis to analyze and design an inverter power supply.

Fuel cells are a clean and weather-independent power supply. Solar and wind power are widespread in islands that are difficult to supply power. If problems are solved in the future, fuel cells are also expected to become popular. The widespread commercialization of PEMFC stacks depends on their reliability and fault diagnosis. In this study, we developed a degradation diagnosis method for the purpose of improving reliability. The output reduction of the fuel cell is separated into reduction factors called overpotentials. And the factor of the decrease is specified. In this paper, we show the proposed method and the degradation factors, and the effectiveness of the method.

The era of evolution in power electronic systems has led to a widespread displacement of power supplies operating at mains frequencies. Switched-mode power inverters offer possibilities incomparably higher than mains transformers. These trends have also entered into plasma technologies, including GlidArc plasma processing. The article presents the use of an inverter power supply for a miniaturized GlidArc. It is a demonstration of using a push–pull topology in an unusual application. A special part is devoted to parasitic phenomena in the inverter and the implementation of switching overvoltages as a way of improving the ignition parameters of the power supply. The results of the tests with a plasma reactor in air conditions as a process gas are also presented.

The development of truck crane is rapid, however, due to the constraint of working condition, the fault diagnosis and elimination are difficult. Pertaining to the electrical system of truck crane, the electrical system is analyzed. The electrical system is divided into four parts, including power supply system, startup system, ignition system and the whole-car circuit. The fault phenomenon is sorted and the causes of faults are analyzed. Then the detection and repairing methods of common faults are put forward, thereby save time consumption of maintenance, improve the maintenance efficiency and provide theoretical basis for actual maintaining operation.
