A new subclass Σp,q(α,A,B) of meromorphic multivalent functions is defined by means of a q-difference operator. Some properties of the functions in this new subclass, such as sufficient and necessary conditions, coefficient estimates, growth and distortion theorems, radius of starlikeness and convexity, partial sums and closure theorems, are investigated.
AbstractRecently, S. K. Mahato and P. D. Srivastava [A class of sequence spaces defined by 𝑙-fractional difference operator, preprint 2018, http://arxiv.org/abs/1806.10383] studied 𝑙-fractional difference sequence spaces.
In this article, we intend to make a new approach to introduce and study some lambda 𝑙-fractional convergent, lambda 𝑙-fractional null and lambda 𝑙-fractional bounded sequences over 𝑛-normed spaces.
Various algebraic and topological properties of these newly formed sequence spaces have been explored, and some inclusion relations concerning these spaces are also established.
Finally, some characterizations of the newly formed sequence spaces are given.
AbstractThe motive of the present work is to introduce and investigate the quadratically convergent Newton’s like method for solving the non-linear equations. We have studied some new properties of a Newton’s like method with examples and obtained a derivative-free globally convergent Newton’s like method using forward difference operator and bisection method. Finally, we have used various numerical test functions along with their fractal patterns to show the utility of the proposed method. These patterns support the numerical results and explain the compactness regarding the convergence, divergence and stability of the methods to different roots.
