AbstractIn this paper, we propose some new type of weak cyclic multivalued contraction mappings by generalizing the cyclic contraction using the δ-distance function. Several novel fixed point results are deduced for such class of weak cyclic multivalued mappings in the framework of metric spaces. Also, we construct some examples to validate the usability of the results. Various existing results of the literature are generalized.

The aim of this research work is to find out some results in fixed point theory for a pair of families of multivalued mappings fulfilling a new type of U -contractions in modular-like metric spaces. Some new results in graph theory for multigraph-dominated contractions in modular-like metric spaces are developed. An application has been presented to ensure the uniqueness and existence of a solution of families of nonlinear integral equations.

In this paper, a new type of graph contractive multi-valued mappings in a metric space with a directed graph is introduced and studied. A common fixed point theorem of those two multi-valued mappings is established under some appropriate conditions. Moreover, some examples illustrating our main result are also given. The obtained result extends and generalizes several fixed point results of multivalued mappings in the literature. We apply our main result to obtain common fixed point results for two multi-valued mappings in ?-chainable complete metric spaces and two cyclic contraction multi-valued mappings.

The purpose of this study is to introduce a new type of extended metric space, i.e., the rectangular quasi-partial b-metric space, which means a relaxation of the symmetry requirement of metric spaces, by including a real number s in the definition of the rectangular metric space defined by Branciari. Here, we obtain a fixed point theorem for interpolative Rus–Reich–Ćirić contraction mappings in the realm of rectangular quasi-partial b-metric spaces. Furthermore, an example is also illustrated to present the applicability of our result.

In this paper, we provide some generalizations of the Darbo's fixed point theorem and further develop the notion of $F$-contraction introduced by Wardowski in (\cite{wad}, D. Wardowski, \emph{Fixed points of a new type of contractive mappings in complete metric spaces,} Fixed Point Theory and Appl., 94, (2012)). To achieve this, we introduce the notion of Darbo-type $F$-contraction, cyclic $(\alpha,\beta)$-admissible operator and we also establish some fixed point and common fixed point results for this class of mappings in the framework of Banach spaces. In addition, we apply our fixed point results to establish the existence of solution to a Volterra type integral equation.

Abstract We study the existence of fixed points for contraction multivalued mappings in modular metric spaces endowed with a graph. The notion of a modular metric on an arbitrary set and the corresponding modular spaces, generalizing classical modulars over linear spaces like Orlicz spaces, were recently introduced. This paper can be seen as a generalization of Nadler and Edelstein’s fixed point theorems to modular metric spaces endowed with a graph.

The purpose of this paper is to find out fixed point results for the family of multivalued mappings fulfilling a generalized rational type F-contractive conditions on a closed ball in complete dislocated b-metric space. An application to the system of integral equations is presented to show the novelty of our results. Our results extend several comparable results in the existing literature.

The purpose of this paper is to combine and extend some recent fixed point results of Suzuki, T., [A new type of fixed point theorem in metric spaces, Nonlinear Anal., 71 (2009), 5313–5317] and Secelean, N. A. & Wardowski, D., [ψF-contractions: not necessarily nonexpansive Picard operators, Results Math., 70 (2016), 415–431]. The continuity and the completeness conditions are replaced by orbitally continuity and orbitally completeness respectively. It is given an illustrative example of a Picard operator on a non complete metric space which is neither nonexpansive nor expansive and has a unique continuity point.

The definition of related mappings was introduced by Fisher in 1981. He proved some theorems about the existence of fixed points of single valued mappings defined on two complete metric spaces and relations between these mappings. In this paper, we present some related fixed point results for multivalued mappings on two complete metric spaces. First we give a classical result which is an extension of the main result of Fisher to the multivalued case. Then considering the recent technique of Wardowski, we provide two related fixed point results for both compact set valued and closed bounded set valued mappings via $F$-contraction type conditions.

In this paper, we introduce the concept of new type of F -contractive type for quasipartial b-metric spaces and some definitions and lemmas. Also, we will prove a new fixed-point theorem in quasipartial b -metric spaces for F -contractive type mappings. In addition, we give an application which illustrates a situation when Banach’s fixed-point theorem for complete quasipartial b -metric spaces cannot be applied, while the conditions of our theorem are satisfying.
