The flotation of smelting copper slags in Yunnan has been studied in this paper. The influences of grinding fineness, different kinds of collectors and the dosage of sodium sulfide, GZT, which influence the flotation results, are tested. The experimental results show that in the first stage of roughing, a good flotation result is obtained, the concentrate copper grade reaches 24.12% and the flotation recovery rate reaches 82.98%, when the grade of copper slags is about 2.1%, under the circumstances that the grinding fineness is 85.6%, the amount of Y-89 is 400g/t, the amount of sodium sulfide is 2500g/t, and the amount of GZT is 80g/t.

In this paper, potential control flotation of molybdenite has been investigated which focus on the effect of pulp potential on flotation performance. Optimum flotation conditions of molybdenite are determined through tests: optimum pulp potential is 190mv~300mv, dosage of sodium sulfide is 6kg/t.The potential control flotation does not use sodium silicate which solved the problem of tailing settlement difficulties. The mechanism of potential control flotation shows that S0 is the main factor that achieves potential control flotation of molybdenite.

Abstract The reactions of di-tert-butylantimony chloride with sodium hydroxide or sodium sulfide yield new anhydrides or thioanhydrides of tert-butylstibinous acids, which have structures with bridging oxygen or sulfur atoms. Analogous reactions of tert-butylantimonydichloride produce the first examples of anhydrides or thioanhydrides of tertbutylstibonous acids, which have cyclic structures (t-BuSbE)n E = O, n = 3, 4; E = S, n = 2, 3, 4, 5. Structural evidence is based on IR, 1H NMR and MS data.
