Rotating effects and magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) free convection flow of second grade fluids in a porous medium is considered in this paper. It is assumed that the bounding infinite inclined plate has ramped wall temperature with the presence of heat and mass diffusion. Based on Boussinesq approximation, the analytical expressions for dimensionless velocity, temperature and concentration are obtained by using the Laplace transform method. All the derived solutions satisfying the involved differential equations with imposed boundary and initial conditions. The influence of various parameters on the velocity has been analyzed in graphs and discussed.

In this paper, the effects of internal heat generation or absorption on free convection flow of a nanofluid past an isothermal inclined plate have been investigated numerically. The governing boundary-layer equations are first transformed into a system of coupled nonlinear ordinary differential equations using similarity variables. An efficient implicit finite-difference scheme known as the Keller-box method is employed to solve the resulting nonlinear equations. The effects of internal heat generation or absorption parameter on the flow fields have been presented graphically and discussed. It is found that the rate of heat transfer decreases with increasing heat generation, Brownian motion and thermophoresis parameters whereas it increases with increasing heat absorption parameter and Prandtl number.

The effect of chemical reaction on unsteady magentohydrodynamic (MHD) free convection flow in a porous medium past an infinite inclined plate has been investigated. Laplace transform technique is the method to solve the solutions for velocity, temperature and concentration fields. The analytical expressions for non-dimensional skin friction, Nusselt number and Sherwood number has been presented. The influence of various embedded parameter on velocity, temperature and concentration such as chemical reaction parameter, magnetic field and radiation has been discussed in detail. The effects of involved parameters have been discussed and the numerical results are presented graphically.

This paper gives theoretical consideration to the problem of the stability of laminar, boundary-layer, free-convection flow of air along a long, inclined plane surface heated isothermally. The analysis considers two forms of small disturbance: a two-dimensional wave disturbance, and a set of longitudinal roll vortices. Development of the appropriate disturbance equations is followed by their numerical solution. The effect of inclination on the neutral stability curves for both disturbance forms is presented graphically along with a comparison of the critical Rayleigh numbers obtained from both disturbance forms.
