Rotating effects and magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) free convection flow of second grade fluids in a porous medium is considered in this paper. It is assumed that the bounding infinite inclined plate has ramped wall temperature with the presence of heat and mass diffusion. Based on Boussinesq approximation, the analytical expressions for dimensionless velocity, temperature and concentration are obtained by using the Laplace transform method. All the derived solutions satisfying the involved differential equations with imposed boundary and initial conditions. The influence of various parameters on the velocity has been analyzed in graphs and discussed.

The unsteady MHD free convection flow near an exponentially accelerated infinite vertical plate through porous medium with uniform heat flux in the presence of thermal radiation has been considered. The mathematical model, under the usual Boussinesq approximation, was reduced to a system of coupled linear partial differential equations for velocity and temperature. Exact solutions are obtained by the Laplace transform method. The influence of pertinent parameters such as the radiation parameter, Grashof number, Prandtl number, and time on velocity, temperature, and skin friction is shown by graphs.

The effect of chemical reaction on unsteady magentohydrodynamic (MHD) free convection flow in a porous medium past an infinite inclined plate has been investigated. Laplace transform technique is the method to solve the solutions for velocity, temperature and concentration fields. The analytical expressions for non-dimensional skin friction, Nusselt number and Sherwood number has been presented. The influence of various embedded parameter on velocity, temperature and concentration such as chemical reaction parameter, magnetic field and radiation has been discussed in detail. The effects of involved parameters have been discussed and the numerical results are presented graphically.

The article’s objective is to study the magnetohydrodynamic fluctuating free convection flow of incompressible electrically conducting viscoelastic fluid in a porous medium in the presence of a pressure gradient. The flow is between two parallel plates; the lower plate is at rest, while the upper plate moves with a free stream velocity U t . A uniform magnetic field of strength B0 is applied transversely to the fluid motion. The dimensional governing equations and physical initial and boundary conditions are nondimensionalized by inserting appropriate dimensionless variables. Furthermore, Lighthill’s method is used to obtain exact analytical solutions for the velocity, temperature, and concentration distributions. Finally, the influences of inserted parameters are studied through plots and discussed physically. The numerical results are calculated and presented in tabular form for skin friction. It is worth mentioning that when the viscoelastic parameter α 1 tends to zero, the obtained general solution is reduced to Newtonian fluid, which shows the validity and correctness of our obtained exact solutions.
