Pulsating heat pipes are complex devices for heat transfer and their optimal thermal performance depends mainly on different parameters. This work is about the thermal efficiency of a closed-loop oscillating heat pipe with a diameter of 2.0 mm and 3.0 copper tube inner and outer. For all experiments, the filling ratio (FR) was used 40%, 50 %,70%,80% and heat inputs of 20W, 40W, 60W, and 80W was provided to PHP. The position of the PHP was vertical bottom heat type. The length of evaporator, adiabatic and condenser section was maintained 52 mm,170mm,60mm. Water and benzene were selected as working fluids. From the available literature it is observed that working fluid and filling ratio are key factors in PHP's performance. The results show that the thermal resistance decreases rapidly with the increase in the heat input to 20 to 40 W., while it decreases gradually over 40 to 80W.Simulation is done in CFD and experimental data were equated to the results.

The aim of this work is preparation and investigation of copper conductive paths by printing with a different type of functional ink. The solutions based on copper-containing complex compounds were used as inks instead of dispersions of metal nanoparticles. Thermal characteristics of synthesized precursors were studied by thermogravimetry in an argon atmosphere. Based on the comparison of decomposition temperature, the dimethylamine complex of copper formate was found to be more suitable precursor for the formation of copper layers. Structure and performance of this compound was studied in detail by X-ray diffraction, test of wettability, printing on flexible substrate, and electrical measurements.

Objective: Evaluation of the temperature regime of the windings of an asynchronous traction electric motor with a squirrel-cage rotor (ATED) of the DAT-350 type of a 2TE25A diesel locomotive using the de- Современные технологии – транспорту 467 ISSN 1815-588Х. Известия ПГУПС 2021/4 veloped thermal model. Methods: The research was carried out by the fi nite element method in the application for calculating steady-state temperature fi elds SolidWorks. Resuls: To ensure the specifi ed service life of the ATED, the temperature rise of the windings must be limited to safe values, based on the insulation class. Therefore, it is crucial that designers and operators have access to accurate and computati onally effi cient, physics-based ATED thermal behavior modeling tools. Practical results: Using the proposed methods, it is possible to accurately and effectively evaluate the thermal characteristics of ATED of promising diesel locomotives. In addition, designers can easily and quickly adjust the parameters and performance characteristics of the ATED in such a way that they are conducive to improving the overall performance of the locomotive.

In this paper, heat transfer model is assumed in coaxial radial heat pipe(CRHP) firstly. To verify the model , visualization and performance experiment are studied. Visualization experiments of CRHP are done under different filing radio of 20%, 30%, 35% and inclined angles of 0°(horizontal), 5°, 10°, 15°, 20°. Visualization experimental results show that CRHP of horizontal and 30% filling ratio is better on thermal characteristics. Its heat transfer model is preliminary analyzed from experimental phenomena. In performance experiment , the kind of CRHP is used to test heat transfer characteristics. The temperatures of the outside wall of outer pipe are determined and drawn diagrams. Lastly, heat transfer model is corrected anew by analyzing experimental datas.

In this study, we used simulation technique to analyze the thermal characteristics of solo TGV (through-glass via) structure and solo TSV (through-silicon via) structure. The analysis showed, no matter in in-plane direction or in cross-plane direction, the thermal conductivity of a TGV structure is much lower than that of a TSV structure. Also, using simulation, we chose a typical 2.5D IC SiP (system in package) to compare the thermal performances between the SiP with TGV interposer and TSV interposer by using simulation. The specific via structures of 30μm in diameter and 60μm in pitch were adopted in the case studies. The results show the thermal performance of the 3D IC system with TSV is slightly better than that of the system with TGV, but both performances are nearly equal. The evaluations demonstrate the ultra-low thermal conductivity does not damage the thermal performance of a 3D IC SiP with TGV interposer; and proves the feasibility of the glass interposer for electronics applications.
