The presented manuscript points to the possibilities of implementing Smart glasses in warehouse management. With the introduction of augmented reality (AR), it is possible to speed up warehouse employees' processes must ensure significantly. The first part of the article deals with the issue of augmented reality and the object sensing system. The second part is focused on the possibilities of AR in warehouse management to increase productivity. The main part of the study focuses on comparing four systems that operate in distribution centres. The study evaluated and described the benefits of their implementation. Overall, the findings show that the performance of Smart technologies focusing on augmented reality is becoming a novelty in warehousing with significant services for businesses. AR is also pointed out by implementing Industry 4.0 ideas in the concept of creating digital twins of manufacturing companies, which is a current trend.

We present a novel realtime digital twin based on artificial intelligence to emulate physically sound fluid dynamics, and classify and recognise liquids, with information from video streamings. Results are presented with augmented reality techniques not only for friendly user interaction, but also to provide augmented information in manipulation tasks.

The rapid advancements of technology related to the Internet of Things and Cyber-Physical Systems mark an ongoing industrial revolution. Digital Twins and Augmented Reality play a significant role in this technological advancement. They are highly complementary concepts enabling the representation of physical assets in the digital space (Digital Twin) and the augmentation of physical space with digital information (Augmented Reality). Throughout the last few years, research has picked up on this and explored the possibilities of combining DT and AR. However, cybersecurity scholars have not yet paid much attention to this combined-arms approach, despite its potential. Especially, concerning contemporary security challenges, such as developing cyber situational awareness and including human factors into cybersecurity, AR and DT, offer tremendous potential for improvement. In this work, we systematize existing knowledge on AR-powered DTs and shed light on why and how cybersecurity could benefit from this combination.
