The number of passengers in a high-speed railway line normally varies significantly by the time periods, such as the peak and nonpeak hours. A reasonable classification of railway operation time intervals is essential for an adaptive adjustment of the train schedule. However, the passenger flow intervals are usually classified manually based on experience, which is subjective and inaccurate. Based on the time samples of actual passenger demand data for 365 days, this paper proposes an affinity propagation (AP) algorithm to automatically classify the passenger flow intervals. Specifically, the AP algorithm first merges time samples into different categories together with the passenger transmit volume of the stations, which are used as descriptive variables. Furthermore, clustering validity indexes, such as Calinski–Harabasz, Hartigan, and In-Group Proportion, are employed to examine the clustering results, and reasonable passenger flow intervals are finally obtained. A case study of the Zhengzhou-Xi’an high-speed railway indicates that our proposed AP algorithm has the best performance. Moreover, based on the passenger flow interval classification results obtained using the AP algorithm, the train operation plan fits the passenger demand better. As a result, the indexes of passenger demand satisfaction rate, average train occupancy rate, and passenger flow rate are improved by 7.6%, 16.7%, and 14.1%, respectively, in 2014. In 2015, the above three indicators are improved by 5.7%, 18.4%, and 14.4%, respectively.

Ha Tai railway passenger dedicated line is a national key project of the eleventh five-year plan. Its different from other construction of high-speed railway because there is many frozen soil over the place. The requirement of the subgrade material is higher.We proposed a idea that gradred broken stone mixed with cement and fine powder applied in the project.The compressive strength,splitting tensile strength and flexural strength were studied and analyzed through laboratory test.And regression analysis between compressive strength and flexural strength was made .According to the regression analysis,a power exponent function between flexural strength and compressive strength was got.Based on this,the corresponding relationship table was deduced,which can be used in practical projects.

The criterion for residual deformation of Substructure of ballasteless track on railway passenger dedicated line is extremely strict in order to satisfy the safety and comfort requirements of the high-speed train during operation period, urgent need to strengthen the ballastless track lines settlement deformation observation, prediction and assessment technology. Based on Chengdu-Guanxian line, this paper puts forward observation programs of subgrade settlement combined with the characteristics of Subgrade Settlement through the analysis of the influence factors of subgrade settlement deformation and key consideration about the factors of nighttime observation precision. It shows that the monitoring and assessment technology could meet the requirements through the analysis of field data, it can be guidance of railway management departments to make maintenance plan. Some advices provide reference for the monitoring and assessment of high-speed railway subgrade settlement during operation period.

Take Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway for example. By adopting the empirical mode decomposition (EMD) attempt to analyze mode from the perspective of volatility of high speed railway passenger flow fluctuation signal. Constructed the ensemble empirical mode decomposition-gray support vector machine (EEMD-GSVM) short-term forecasting model which fuse the gray generation and support vector machine with the ensemble empirical mode decomposition (EEMD). Finally, by the accuracy of predicted results, explains the EEMD-GSVM model has the better adaptability.

High-speed railway passenger train operation plan is an important basis to ensure the quality of transportation services. With construction and development of the country's high-speed railway, design and evaluation of railway passenger train plan theory need to be improved and perfected. On the basis of reading and studying a large amount of the references, this paper summarizes the domestic and overseas high-speed running railway operation modes, the high speed railway train operation programs design and other aspects. Besides, according to the related problems and shortcomings, this paper illustrates the meanings and necessities of analyzing the high-speed railway passenger train program.
