In this paper, the stability of switched neural networks (SNNs) with interval parameter uncertainties and time delays is investigated. First, the conditions for the existence and uniqueness of the equilibrium point of the system are discussed. Second, the average dwell time approach and M-matrix property are employed to obtain conditions to ensure the globally exponential stability of the delayed SNNs under constrained switching. Third, by resorting to inequality technique and the idea of vector Lyapunov function, sufficient condition to ensure the robust exponential stability of the delayed SNNs under arbitrary switching is derived. The form of the constructed Lyapunov functions is simple, which has certain commonality in studying delayed SNNs, and the proposed results not only are explicit but also reveal the relationship between the constrained switching and the arbitrary switching of the SNNs. Finally, two numerical examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness and less conservativeness of the main results compared with the existing literature.

The stability for the switched Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with mixed time delays andα-inverse Hölder activation functions is investigated under the switching rule with the average dwell time property. By applying multiple Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional approach and linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique, a delay-dependent sufficient criterion is achieved to ensure such switched neural networks to be globally exponentially stable in terms of LMIs, and the exponential decay estimation is explicitly developed for the states too. Two illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the validity of the theoretical results.

This paper proposes the [Formula: see text]-matrix method to achieve state estimation in Markov switched neural networks with Lévy noise, and the method is very distinct from the linear matrix inequality technique. Meanwhile, in light of the Lyapunov stability theory, some sufficient conditions of the exponential stability are derived for delayed neural networks, and the adaptive update law is obtained. An example verifies the condition of state estimation and confirms the effectiveness of results.
