This article updates Tune's 1964 review of variables influencing human subjects' attempts at generating random sequences of alternatives. It also covers aspects not included in the original review such as randomization behavior by patients with neurological and psychiatric disorders. Relevant work from animal research (spontaneous alternation paradigm) is considered as well. It is conjectured that Tune's explanation of sequential nonrandomness in terms of a limited capacity of short-term memory can no longer be maintained. Rather, interdependence among consecutive choices is considered a consequence of an organism's natural susceptibility to interference. Random generation is thus a complex action which demands complete suppression of any rule-governed behavior. It possibly relies on functions of the frontal lobes but cannot otherwise be “localized” to restricted regions of the brain. Possible developments in the field are briefly discussed, both with respect to basic experiments regarding the nature of behavioral nonrandomness and to potential applications of random-generation tasks.

Wireless multi-point real-time environmental monitoring system based on LabVIEW is composed of three parts: wireless environment information collection node, communication gateway, and host computer monitoring system. The purpose of this study is to explore the application of wireless monitoring technology in industry. Since that it is at the stage of research feasibility, various sensors used for the applications select the level limited to the ordinary teaching using sensor. AGV uses vehicle manipulator developed by Wuhan Depushi Technology Company and some sensors are simulated. The results of simple basic experiments showed that the wireless module can achieve point to multipoint communication. It is concluded that the monitoring interface can simultaneously process the data of a simulated pipeline terminal node with a simulated AGV data and make them work in a closed loop state.

In present work, the distribution of electric field strength on the surface of work piece was analyzed through ANSYS and theoretical equation. Moreover, the attractive force acting on particles that disperses in ER polishing fluid was calculated. A series of basic experiments were conducted, it is aimed to find out the effective process parameters on the surface roughness using the work piece as electrode. Vehicle handling directional stability has been more and more important, experiments for steering wheel corner step input response, steering oil tank response property, steady state turning and steering angle of all steering wheels were conducted in this paper, the experimental results show that multi-wheel steering system can fulfill its function very well and reach target angle, it provides a new method for researching for the vehicle handling directional stability.
