Nitrogen-doped CeOx nanoparticles modified g-C3N4 was successfully prepared via a one-pot method, which showed significantly enhanced photocatalytic activity for hydrogen generation under visible light compared to the pure g-C3N4 photocatalyst.

A series of Zn0.83Cd0.17S with high photocatalytic activity was hydrothermally synthesized, the best hydrogen production rate of 45.97 mmol h−1 g−1 was obtained when the hydrothermal temperature was 160 °​C and the dosage was 0.03 g.

A facile method is developed to synthesize Nb4+ self doped KN nanorods modified with Nb4N5 nanoparticles, which exhibit enhanced visible-light photocatalytic activity for hydrogen production.
