Project full-cycle evaluation is the process of evaluating the level of project implementation. The evaluation has a clear purpose orientation and involves the entire cycle of the project. This paper proposes a research method for the full-cycle evaluation of power grid projects based on rough set-multi-level extension theory. First, this article combines various aspects of the project to establish a project evaluation index system involving multiple interests such as the environment and society. Then, the index weight is determined based on the rough set theory, and the multi-level extension theory is used to evaluate the project in the whole cycle. This model provides new ideas for the accurate evaluation of various types of projects and lays a theoretical foundation for improving the level of project management.

Intuitionistic fuzzy (IF) rough sets are the generalization of traditional rough sets obtained by combining the IF set theory and the rough set theory. The existing research on IF rough sets mainly concentrates on the establishment of lower and upper approximation operators using constructive and axiomatic approaches. Less effort has been put on the attribute reduction of databases based on IF rough sets. This paper systematically studies attribute reduction based on IF rough sets. Firstly, attribute reduction with traditional rough sets and some concepts of IF rough sets are reviewed. Then, we introduce some concepts and theorems of attribute reduction with IF rough sets, and completely investigate the structure of attribute reduction. Employing the discernibility matrix approach, an algorithm to find all attribute reductions is also presented. Finally, an example is proposed to illustrate our idea and method. Altogether, these findings lay a solid theoretical foundation for attribute reduction based on IF rough sets.

Lead, Mercury and Cadmium etc as the main evaluation index of heavy metal pollution established relational data model. The rough set theory is introduced, use the existing algorithm (Combinatorial Completer) to fill the missing value. After data preprocessing, use the DBMAS algorithm proposed in the paper to calculate the important degree of heavy metal pollution factors, in order to provides a more objective evaluation index weight for evaluation of heavy metal pollution.

With the rising of the supply chain in all areas, trust issues become more and more concern. An applied-information technology with trust risk evaluation method is presented. Trust risk rating index system is built after analyzing trust risks in the supply chain. The key indexes of trust risk indexes are selected based on rough set theory, and a simplified trust risk evaluation index system is constituted. The weight of each index is calculated by rough set theory. Supply chain trust risk is assessed based on the determined index system, index weight and advantages of the uncertain multiple attribute decision making methods, which provide the basis for trust of supply chain risk prevention.

With the increasing of fault information transmission capacity in power grid, the volume of information which needs to be concerned by dispatchers has greatly increased, consequently making it difficult to identify the fault signal and analyze the cause of the accident quickly for dispatchers in massive fault information. To settle this problem, this paper uses a novel approach that combines rough set theory with association rule for mining fault rules in a large number of historical fault data of power grid. Firstly, it builds distributed original decision tables according to regions. And then it uses the information entropy algorithm in condition attribute reduction. Lastly, it applies the improved Apriori algorithm of association rule to fault rules mining based on the reduction decision table. In this way the problems of redundancy of massive fault information can be solved and complexity of rules extraction can be simplified effectively. It also improves the efficiency of fault rules mining.

The neighborhood rough set theory was adopted for attributes reduction and the weight distribution of condition attributes based on the concept of importance level. Smart elderly care coverage rate is low in China. A decisive role in the adoption of smart elderly care is still a problem that needs to be addressed. This study contributes to the adoption of smart elderly care was selected as the decision attribute. The remaining attributes are used as conditional attributes and the multi-level symmetric attribute set for assessing acceptance of smart elderly care. Prior studies are not included smart elderly care adoption attributes in multi-levels; hence, this problem needs to be addressed. The results of this study indicate that the condition attribute of gender has the greatest influence on the decision attribute. The condition attribute of living expenses for smart elderly care has the second largest impact on decision attribute. Children’s support for the elderly decency of the novel elderly care system and the acceptance of non-traditional elderly care methods belong to the primary condition attribute of traditional concept. The result indicates traditional concepts have a certain impact on the adoption of smart elderly care and a condition attribute of residence also has a slight influence on the symmetric decision attribute. The sensitivity analysis shows the insights for uncertainties and provides as a basis for the analysis of the attributes in the smart elderly care service adoption.

This paper constructed a system of indexes for evaluating Liuli expressway landscape, including 3 aspects of road-region environment landscape resources, aesthetics and ecological, totally 24 evaluation indexes. The rough set theory was introduced and first applied to evaluate expressway landscape quality. For calculating every index weight of Liuli expressway landscape quality accurately, index reduction principle was used to clear the redundancy indexes, and finally remained 15 indexes. Then, the evaluation index weight was determined by the method of attribute importance assignment weight. Finally, landscape quality indexes of the three landscape areas in Liuli expressway were obtained by calculating and analyzing.
