In this study, an analysis is carried out to determine the optimal application of multiple renewable energy resources, namely wind and solar, to provide electricity requirements for green smart cities and environments. This was done to determine the potential of renewable energy to provide clean, economically viable energy for the case study of Zagazig, located at 30°34′ N 31°30′ E in the North East of Egypt. The relevant data surrounding the production of energy were collected, including the meteorological data from NASA, and specifications regarding renewable resources including solar panels, wind turbines, and storage batteries. Then a hybrid model was constructed consisting of Photovoltaics (PV) panels, wind turbines, a converter, and storage batteries. Once the model was constructed, meteorological data were added alongside average daily demand and cost of electricity per kWh. The optimal solution for Zagazig consisted of 181,000 kW of solar panels feeding directly into the grid. This system had the lowest Net Present Cost (NPC) of the simulations run of US$1,361,029,000 and a net reduction of 156,355 tonnes of CO2 per year.

Distributed generation system (DGs) is considered to be an advanced configuration of distributed generation through the effective organization of renewable energy power sources, loads and energy storage devices, which can operate either isolation or connected with grid. This paper studied the control of DGs which is constructed with DFIG (Double Fed Induction Generator) based Wind Farm, PV (Photovoltaic) generation farm and Storage Batteries. The paper studied the simulation model of the DGs and the control strategy.

For power supply to isolated consumers, an autonomous power complex is used, consisting of photovoltaic converters, diesel generators and storage batteries. When planning the power complex, the fundamental task is to select the optimal structure of the elements of the generation system, which maximizes the use of the solar energy input to ensure the given consumer load. The article proposes a technique for optimizing a swarm of particles in relation to the problem of determining the composition and power of the elements of a solar-diesel generation system. On the example of the power supply system of the settlement of the Republic of Khakassia, the optimal structure of generating and storage facilities using solar energy has been determined. To assess the reliability indicators of the power complex, a probabilistic method has been proposed and implemented, which makes it possible to take into account the daily cyclicity and seasonal variability of the intensity of solar radiation

To fulfill the prospective student's information need about student admission, Gunadarma University has already many kinds of services which are time limited, such as website, book, registration place, Media Information Center, and Question Answering’s website (UG-Pedia). It needs a service that can serve them anytime and anywhere. Therefore, this research is developing the UGLeo as a web based QA intelligence chatbot application for Gunadarma University's student admission portal. UGLeo is developed by MegaHal style which implements the Markov Chain method. In this research, there are some modifications in MegaHal style, those modifications are the structure of natural language processing and the structure of database. The accuracy of UGLeo reply is 65%. However, to increase the accuracy there are some improvements to be applied in UGLeo system, both improvement in natural language processing and improvement in MegaHal style.

Based on practical project and application, the design scheme of small capacity of integrated PV and storage grid-connected generation system is presented in this paper. For demonstrative and experimental purpose in this project, it includes several typical PV modules, tracking system and grid-connected inverters. Entire design scheme covers system integration, grid-connected solution, PV array and bracket, monitoring system, energy storage system, and etc. Configuration and application prospect of energy storage system in grid-connected PV system are mainly introduced. The characteristics of lithium battery and vanadium redox flow battery, as well as their application in the field of distributed power generation are researched.
