This paper shows an analysis how to calculate proper bandwidth for VoIP calls after proper dimensioning of PSTN network. For this purpose, we use Erlang B and extended Erlang B formulae. Further, we have developed a software tool, named Bandwidth Calculator to calculate proper number of the circuits on the PSTN side and after that IP bandwidth. Traffic analysis is conducted for VoIP networks considering impact of many factors on the bandwidth such as: voice codecs, samples, VAD, RTP compression. The results obtained by bandwidth calculator are compared to simulation results and data obtained by measurements. .

Based on Kogut and Etsion’s model (KE model), a statistical method is used to establish a model of normal contact stiffness of fixed joint surface during unloading after first loading. Simulation results show that, for the elastoplastic contact, normal contact stiffness of joint surface is the nonlinear function of mean surface separation during loading and unloading and decreases as the separation increases. For different plasticity indexes, the normal contact stiffness of joint surface varies differently following the change of mean surface separation during loading and unloading.

Current statistical model needs to pre-define the value of maximum accelerations of maneuvering targets. So it may be difficult to meet all maneuvering conditions. In this paper a novel adaptive algorithm for tracking maneuvering targets is proposed. The algorithm is implemented with fuzzy-controlled current statistic model adaptive filtering and unscented transformation. The Monte Carlo simulation results show that this method outperforms the conventional tracking algorithm based on current statistical model.

Aiming at the model adaptability and the filter precision on the maneuvering target on-axis tracking, The paper put forward a filter algorithm based on modified current statistical model. The algorithm can enhance the model adaptability to the weak and non-maneuvering maneuvering target. The method uses Unscented Kalman Filter to obtain the importance density function of each particle, improves the Particle Filter estimation performance.By applying the proposed algorithm to the on-axis tracking system, the simulation results demonstrate that algorithm can effectively improve filter performance and tracking precision.

With respect to power distribution networks, which includes two types of air and ground networks; it is worth noting that the use of the air networks is more economical and therefore dominates the existing air networks. In this paper, the authors have worked on the reliability indexes changes for a month period. As well, the paper’s aim is to make a strategy in short-term (monthly) to network management in order to alleviate cutoff number and time, ENS, increasing customer satisfaction from electric distribution companies and comparing the performance of air and ground networks. The paper was done based on a case study sample substation of a network in Bakhtar regional electric company, Iran. Also, simulation results have obtained by CYME PSAF.

The difference between Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System and Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast surveillance principle was compared. A TCAS/ ADS-B integrated surveillance system based on the present statistical model was built. Using the data fusion algorithm, the optimal local track of TCAS and ADS-B ,as well as the optimal fused track of the integrated system were estimated. The simulation results show that the maximum optimal fused estimated position error is 100m, it is certificated that the integrated system can improve track estimates accuracy, improve the surveillance precision of TCAS.

Background: Every year, the number of T-Cash users is increasing significantly. However, the increase is not in sync with the number of T-Cash transactions. In this year, it was noted that active T-Cash users were only 35%. Some clinical studies have established an assessment of the quality of services, there are several dimensions assessed according to the topic of research. The dimensions of service quality used in this study are dimensions of efficiency, reliability, responsiveness, privacy, and security. Objective: This study aims to build general models and simulations in increasing customer satisfaction with the quality of T-Cash services and produce the best scenarios that can be used by policymakers in increasing customer satisfaction. Methods: System dynamics framework is utilized for the development of the model and scenarios. Because by using a system dynamics framework can predict service quality sometime in the future so that it can produce policies for the company. Results: The simulation results are considered valid because they produce E1 values of 3% (E1 valid when E1 ≤ 5%) and E2 of 7% (E2 valid when E2 ≤ 30%). E1 is mean comparison and E2 is error variance. Based on these 2 scenarios, a policy can be taken that scenario 1 significantly increases customer satisfaction compared to scenario 2.Conclusion: Based on the simulation that has been done, it can be concluded that the dimensions of responsiveness, privacy, reliability, security, and efficiency have an effect on improving service quality. On the scenario 1, it can be concluded that with the addition of the user friendliness dimension, the service quality will experience a significant increase over the next 5 years.

Task scheduling is widely studied in various environments such as cluster, grid and cloud computing systems. Moreover, it is NP-Complete as the optimization criteria is to minimize the overall processing time of all the tasks (i.e., makespan). However, minimization of makespan does not equate to customer satisfaction. In this paper, the authors propose a customer-oriented task scheduling algorithm for heterogeneous multi-cloud environment. The basic idea of this algorithm is to assign a suitable task for each cloud which takes minimum execution time. Then it balances the makespan by inserting as much as tasks into the idle slots of each cloud. As a result, the customers will get better services in minimum time. They simulate the proposed algorithm in a virtualized environment and compare the simulation results with a well-known algorithm, called cloud min-min scheduling. The results show the superiority of the proposed algorithm in terms of customer satisfaction and surplus customer expectation. The authors validate the results using two statistical techniques, namely T-test and ANOVA.
