Recently, the energy spectrum of \boldsymbol{^{10}}10Li was measured upto \boldsymbol{4.6}4.6 MeV, via one-neutron transfer reaction \boldsymbol{d(^{9}\textrm{Li},~p)^{10}\textrm{Li}}𝐝(9Li,𝐩)10Li. Considering the ambiguities on the \boldsymbol{^{10}}10Li continuum spectrum with reference to new data, we report the configuration mixing in the ground state of the two-neutron halo nucleus \boldsymbol{^{11}}11Li for two different choices of the \boldsymbol{^{9}{\textrm{Li}}+n}9Li+𝐧 potential. For the present study, we employ a three-body (\boldsymbol{\textrm{core}+n+n}core+𝐧+𝐧) structure model developed for describing the two-neutron halo system by explicit coupling of unbound continuum states of the subsystem (\boldsymbol{\textrm{core}+n}core+𝐧), and discuss the two-neutron correlations in the ground state of \boldsymbol{^{11}}11Li.

A general overview is presented of an effective model for the inclusion of (d,p) and (d,n) nucleon transfer direct reactions to bound states of the residual nucleus in the general-purpose radiation-transport code FLUKA. The model relies on the distorted-wave Born approximation, employing state-of-the-art subroutines for the numerical solution of the radial Schrödinger equation for the deuteron- and nucleon-nucleus wave-functions, as well as contemporary optical potential models for the latter two. A final variation of a handful of deuteron optical potential parameters provides the model with additional flexibility and enhances the agreement with experimental nucleon angular distributions in a considerable range of target nuclei and deuteron energies.

The elastic scattering of 100 MeV protons from 14N has been studied and results were analyzed by the optical model. The optical potential parameters obtained were compared to those from the same reaction at different bombarding energies and also to those obtained from elastic scattering data of 100 MeV protons from other 1p shell nuclei.

The elastic scattering of deuterons, 3 He and 4 He on 6 Li at different incident energies have been analyzed in the framework of the optical model (OM) using ECIS88 as well as SPI GENOA codes. The optical potential parameters were extracted in the phenomenological treatment. A good agreement between theoretical and experimental differential cross-sections was obtained in whole angular range. Parameters for real part of potential have been also calculated microscopically with double-folding model for the d, 3 He and 4 He scattering, respectively, using DFPOT code. The elastic transfer mechanism has been studied by coupled reaction channel (CRC) method using FRESCO code. Spectroscopic amplitudes of 6 Li ≡ t + 3 He and 6 Li ≡ α + d configurations have been extracted from d, 3 He and 4 He scattering on 6 Li at wide energy range. A comparison between spectroscopic amplitudes obtained from deuteron and α elastically scattering from 6 Li has been made. The extracted spectroscopic amplitudes of 6 Li ≡ 4 He + d( SF = SA 2) from 6 Li (d, 6 Li )d and 6 Li (α, 6 Li )α are not the same as expected theoretically.

The scattering of 100-MeV protons from 11B and 16O has been studied. An optical-model analysis of the elastic scattering on these nuclei has been performed and a consistent set of optical potential parameters which gave a good fit to the experimental results was obtained. In the inelastic scattering on 11B, it has been found that the first and third excited states were weakly excited whereas the second excited state was fairly strongly excited. The results were explained in terms of the unified model.
