A WSN image watermarking algorithm based on multi-wavelet was proposed. When the instability of image transmission in wireless sensor networks was considered, the proposed algorithm can increase the capacity of the image watermark. In this paper, the wavelet transform coefficients were analyzed by the noise visibility function. And the bits were embedded into the coefficients which have more ability to the tolerance of the noise according to the designated threshold. We achieved the adaptive adjustment in the watermarking strength combined with the JND in the wavelet domain. The experimental results show that the improved watermarking algorithm was adapted to a grayscale image. It can improve the information capacity and the identification capability of the grayscale images greatly. In addition, the renovated algorithm was feasible in the high-capacity watermarking and the watermarking capacity was increased obviously. It provided methods and means for the high-capacity watermarking, and also provided a new way for the further research in the new watermarking technology.

Kata kunci: Sistem penghantaran imej tanpa wayar; kod LDPC; kod Reed Solomon; salur AGWN In this paper the performance of Low–Density Parity–Check (LDPC) and Reed–Solomon (RS) codes are analyzed using a wireless image transmission system. The system utilizes the Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel. In this work, a grayscale image is used as the input data source. The quality of the reconstructed grayscale image after the channel decoder is measured using the Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) by comparing the reconstructed image with the input grayscale image. Simulation results show that the performance of image transmission system using LDPC code is always outperformed the system with RS code in AWGN channel. The quality of output grayscale image is considered good if the value of the PSNR is above 30 dB. Key words: Wiresless image transmission system; LDPC code; Reed Solomon code; AWGN channel

The bit error rate performance of a V-Blast encoded 8x8 MIMO MC-CDMA wireless communication system for different signal detection (MMSE and ZF) and digital modulation (BPSK, QPSK, DPSK, and 4QAM) schemes for grayscale image transmission has been investigated in this paper. The proposed wireless system employ ½-rated Convolution and cyclic redundancy check (CRC) channel encoding over the AWGN channel and Walsh Hadamard code as an orthogonal spread code. The present Matlab based simulation study demonstrates that the V-Blast encoded 8×8 MIMO MC-CDMA wireless system with the employment of 1⁄2- rated convolution and cyclic redundancy check (CRC) channel encoding strategies shows good performance utilizing BPSK digital modulation and ZF signal detection scheme in grayscale image transmission.

In recent years it became apparent that we needed to improve productivity and efficiency in the Microscopy Laboratories in GE Plastics. It was realized that digital image acquisition, archiving, processing, analysis, and transmission over a network would be the best way to achieve this goal. Also, the capabilities of quantitative image analysis, image transmission etc. available with this approach would help us to increase our efficiency. Although the advantages of digital image acquisition, processing, archiving, etc. have been described and are being practiced in many SEM, laboratories, they have not been generally applied in microscopy laboratories (TEM, Optical, SEM and others) and impact on increased productivity has not been yet exploited as well.In order to attain our objective we have acquired a SEMICAPS imaging workstation for each of the GE Plastic sites in the United States. We have integrated the workstation with the microscopes and their peripherals as shown in Figure 1.

In this paper we give a new method to find a grayscale image from a color image. The idea is that the structure tensors of the grayscale image and the color image should be as equal as possible. This is measured by the energy of the tensor differences. We deduce an Euler-Lagrange equation and a second variational inequality. The second variational inequality is remarkably simple in its form. Our equation does not involve several steps, such as finding a gradient first and then integrating it. We show that if a color image is at least two times continuous differentiable, the resulting grayscale image is not necessarily two times continuous differentiable.
