Experts invariably zero in on the health-damaging impacts of climate change in order to define the problem and drive change. But Elizabeth Sawin frames it differently. A biologist with a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sawin focuses on how attacking climate change can pay off with health dividends, and her strategy is to pursue climate and health goals at the same time.
