Dry rot caused by Diaporthe batatatis leads to the serious decay of sweetpotato storage roots during postharvest storage, which can result in considerable economic loss. Genomic research of the pathogen could provide a basis for study and prevention of sweetpotato dry rot. Herein, we report a high-quality draft genome sequence of D.batatatis CRI 302-4 isolated from infected sweetpotato storage roots in Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, China. The size of the genome was 54.38Mb and consisted of 36 scaffolds with a G+C content of 50.56% and an N50 of 2,950,914 bp. The information provided in this genome sequence will be an invaluable resource for molecular genetic research and disease control in sweetpotato production.

ABSTRACT Enterobacter kobei M4-VN, isolated from potatoes with soft rot disease in Vietnam, contains a total of 4,754,309 bp with 4,424 predicted coding sequences and a G+C content of 55.1%.

Basal stem rot (BSR) disease on Elaeis guineens is known to be caused by members of the pathogenic fungal genus Ganoderma, especially the species Ganoderma boninense. This species affects oil palm plantation in Sabah, Malaysia. The genome sequence (52.28 Mbp) will add to the representation of this genus, especially in regard to BSR disease.

Fusarium proliferatum is a component of the onion basal rot disease complex. We present an annotated F. proliferatum draft genome sequence, totaling 45.8 Mb in size, assembled into 597 contigs, with a predicted 15,418 genes. The genome contains 58 secondary metabolite clusters and homologs of the Fusarium oxysporum effector SIX2.

Here, we report the draft genome sequence of Pseudorhodobacter sp. strain E13, a Gram-negative, aerobic, nonflagellated, and rod-shaped bacterium which was isolated from the Yellow Sea in South Korea. The assembled genome sequence is 3,878,578 bp long with 3,646 protein-coding sequences in 159 contigs.
