The two-body nonleptonic Λb decays are considered in the HQET with 1/mQ corrections and factorization approximation. The Isgur–Wise function is evaluated in the bound state soliton picture. The results obtained remain well below their previously predicted upper limit.

We describe the ππS-wave in D+→ π+π−π+ decays using a unitary model for the ππ Final State Interactions (FSI). The three body decay is treated as a quasi two-body process where, at the weak vertex, the D meson decays into a resonance and a pion. The weak part of the decay amplitude is evaluated using the effective weak Hamiltonian within the factorization approximation.

AbstractWe present an analysis of two-current correlations for the pion in the Nambu–Jona-Lasinio model, with Pauli–Villars regularization. We provide explicit expressions in momentum space for two-current correlations corresponding to the zeroth component of the vector Dirac bilinear in the quark vertices, which has been evaluated on the lattice, thinking to applications in a high energy framework, as a step towards the calculation of pion double parton distributions. The numerical results show a remarkable qualitative agreement with recent lattice data. The factorization approximation into one-body currents is discussed based on previous evaluation of the relevant low energy matrix elements in the Nambu–Jona-Lasinio model, confirming the lattice result.

In the QCD sum rules for the tetraquark (molecular) states, the higher-dimensional vacuum condensates play an important role in extracting the tetraquark masses. We carry out the operator product expansion up to the vacuum condensates of dimension-10 and observe that the vacuum condensates of dimensions 6, 8 and 10 have the same expressions but opposite signs for the [Formula: see text]-type and [Formula: see text]-type four-quark currents, which make their influences distinguishable, and they are excellent channels to examine the vacuum saturation approximation. We introduce a parameter [Formula: see text] to parametrize the derivation from the vacuum saturation or factorization approximation, and choose two sets of parameters to examine the influences on the predicted tetraquark masses, which can be confronted to the experimental data in the future. In all the channels, smaller value of the [Formula: see text] leads to better convergent behavior in the operator product expansion, which favors the vacuum saturation approximation.
