The results of the investigation of operational reliability of the fuel supply system of diesel engines F1A FIAT DUCATO cars, the main reasons for the system's loss of operability, the numeri-cal characteristics of its failure-free performance are given. On the basis of processing the array of experimental data on faults and failures in the system, the regularities of change of failure intensi-ty and probabilities of failure-free operation of its main parts depending on vehicle mileage are determined. Methods and algorithm of troubleshooting and timely elimination of damages occur-ring in the fuel supply system are proposed and tested at the FIAT PROFESSIONAL dealership in Vladimir. The introduction of the results of the performed investigations into the production pro-cesses of car service enterprises allows to significantly reduce the costs of maintaining the opera-ble state of the diesel engine fuel supply system in operation.

Advancements were made to the fuel supply system on the basis of the original X195 Diesel Engine correlating its structure features, and we designed exhausting performance experiments on the injection diesel engine burning the mixture of ethanol and diesel. The results show that: the exhaust smoke and the NOx emission could be significantly reduced by ameliorating the engine.

The uC_OS-II embedded real-time operation system is used to improve the original designed fuel supply system of a Stirling engine which governed by the electronic control system based on a rotating speed control method. Task modules for each level are built and the fail-safe modules are also improved in this paper. The developed fuel supply system is investigated through experiment, and test results show that the new real-time operating system works stably and realizes the fuel supply fast adjustment.

Bond Graph theory is a powerful tool in the field of dynamics and multiple-energy domains analyses of complex engineering systems. On the purpose of analyses the dynamic characters of Stirling Engine fuel supply system, the author built a Stirling Engine fuel supply system model based on Bond Graph theory, derived the state equations including pump system and hydraulic system equations and built the Simulink model for simulation, finally verified the accuracy of the model through experiment.
