In a world with ever increasing needs for comfort, human race is relying more and more on technological advancements to find solutions to their problems. Home Automation Systems have become a go-to arena in the recent years. In the following paper, we propose a Home Automation system that uses a wholesome blending of some technologies like Internet of Things, Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. The prime feature of this system is that, it provides two modes of communication to the user : Text and Voice. The text input from the user will be given via a Chatbot Application and the voice input from the user will be given via a voice assistant. The input will undergo Natural Language Processing to find the action that the user wants the system to perform. The IoT component, Raspberry Pi would perform the actuations in the form of switching On or Off of Lights and Fans of a room in the house.

This Home Automation System is based on the ESP8266 wifi module. With the help of this project the electrical loads can be controlled using your android cell phone. For this project we have to connect ESP8266 Wi-fi module and cell phone with the same WIFI network. This project can be used at homes, offices, colleges, universities, and so on. For the Worldwide control system, we can use the Nodemcu ESP8266 Wifi Module. This system is very convenient and economical to use. Major components used in it are: esp8266 wifi modulerelays. With this internet of things we can control four home appliances from the Blynk app, we can also use manual switches to control the appliances with or without internet and we can also monitor real-time feedback. So this is very useful to make our devices smart .In this project we have used four channel relay. In this project we have controlled AC appliances like Lights etc. In this project we used IFTTT with the help of ifttt we can connect all of our apps and devices.

The dramatic advancments on communication and networking technologies have led to the emergence of Internet-of-Things (IoT). IoT technology has opened the door for various applications. In particular, the home automation was one of the common applications that took the advantage of IoT. Several research efforts have addressed the home automation system using IoT covering wide range of functionalities. One of the concerning tasks is providing a secure system that can give alarms for suspicious activities within the house. This paper presents a secure house system based on IoT where several activities are being sensed and detected. Specifically, gas, humidity, body temperature and motion have been considered within the sensing based on two main types of micro-controller including Arduino and Raspberry Pi. Consequentially, an Android prototype has bene developed in order to give an interactive interface for warning the house owner regarding any suscpicious activities. Results of simulation demonstrated the efficancy of the proposed system

Abstract: The Internet of Things (IoT) is the most recent technology platform. We may regulate our daily routine work, such as home applications, control, and simple communication systems, using IOT, and improve our digital services. The Internet of Things (IoT) is a system that intelligently adds everyday content information to the internet in order to facilitate communication between objects and humans, as well as among themselves. In this study, we demonstrate how IoT can improve home automation. The relay, Node MCU, which is a network access component, is used in our suggested system. We can control that equipment using an IoT-based system technique. Mobile phones, computers, and tablets are used as user interfaces in home automation systems. They can connect to the home automation network through a wireless internet connection. The user will interact with the system directly via the control interface, while home appliances will be controlled remotely via a mobile app. An additional aspect of the home automation system is that it may be protected remotely. This redesigned design concept provided a home automation system that could be controlled efficiently. Keywords: IOT, home automation, smart home, relay, response time, Node MCU (ESP8266)
