The author pointed out that heart noises of functional nature lose their character when the forearm is squeezed by the cuff, approaching to normal tones, while noises of organic origin intensify under these conditions. The same applies to vascular valves.

At present, social philosophy is dominated by the view that the importance of mass culture is constantly decreasing, which soon is supposed to lead to the natural decay of this cultural form. The author refutes the arguments of those who are skeptical about the position of mass culture in the post-industrial and digital information society and shows that the functional nature of this type of culture allows it to successfully fulfill its role in modern social systems. The materials of the article can be useful in preparing courses in the framework of social philosophy.

Abstract Analysis of the functional nature of mutations can be based on comparisons of their manifestation in organisms with a deletion or duplication of a particular chromosome segment. With the use of reciprocal translocation T(16;17)43H, it is feasible to produce mice with tertiary trisomy of the proximal region of chromosome 17. The mutations on chromosome 17 we tested included brachyury (T), hairpin tail (Thp), kinky (Fuki), quaking (qk), tufted (tf), as well as tct (t complex tail interaction), and tcl (t complex lethal) that are specific to t haplotypes. The set of dominant and recessive mutations was assigned to two groups: one obligatory, manifesting itself in the phenotype independently of the number of normal alleles in di- and trisomics, and the other facultative, phenotypically manifesting itself depending upon the dosage of mutant alleles. A model was derived from analysis of the interaction of the T and Thp mutations with t haplotypes. It seeks to explain the morphogenetic effects of the mutations observed in mice of different genotypes. The tir gene is postulated to reside on chromosome 17 within its framework. It is suggested that the gene dosage ratio at the tir and tct loci determines tail length.

Functional components of the landscape units, phases and tracts of the suburban forest area of Lviv Vynnyky were analyzed. Case study of the forest geosystems, such as, for example, the landscape phases, shows the research of biometrical index of the forests which are concentrated specifically in this area. On the drawings of the landscape phases of this specific area the division of the forests, which shows the full picture of their areal division, is shown. Key words: landscape phases, landscape tracts, forest geosystems, suburban forest area of Lviv Vynnyky.

Purpose. The purpose of the study is to reveal the features of the legal technique of normative-contractual law-making of modern Ukraine. Methodology. First of all, the principles and techniques of formal-logical methodology are used. Elements of the structural-functional approach have been widely used. Thus, the identification of intersectoral relations in the normative-contractual form of state functions is based on the functional nature of law in general and contractual and regulatory means in particular, which allowed to distinguish two types of intersectoral relations in contractual and regulatory activities. In addition, dialectical, system-structural and functional methods, the method of interpretation (applied to regulations) were used in the work. The scientific novelty lies in the theoretical understanding and delineation of the legal technique of normative-contract law-making, which is interpreted as an integral harmonious part of the law-making system in a state governed by the rule of law. It is shown how with the help of means and methods of legal technique there is an optimization of contractual work and minimization of risks of disputes caused by vagueness and internal inconsistency of contracts. Results. As a result of research the inexpediency of identification of the contract with the regulatory legal act and its inclusion in the system of the legislation is argued. The regulatory role of the contract likens it to a legal act. A normative agreement can be both a consequence of a law and a cause of a normative legal act. Practical importance. The results of the study can be used in law-making activities in order to improve the design of the regulatory agreement, improve its quality and efficiency.

In democracy, the people take the place of a single and universal God. Since the first democracy’s modern theorizations there is a tendency to give the people the (not) attributes of a single god. This abstraction of features allows the people to include all the differences and particularities and then universalizes itself as the source and foundation of all power. The people in democracy are not only innate, uncaused, immortal, incorporeal, unextended, are omnipresent, omniscient (or infallible) and omnipotent - negative attributes as well. The people have also virtues that have been established as human, which, because sacralized, sublimated, are negative attributes as well. The only positive feature of the people, to be full age, reveals its functional nature. The voice of the people is the voice of a God. Therefore the single God creates over his voice, the people creates in an election result. In democracy, this voice creates in an infallible way.
