The process of extracting oil and gas resources, processing them and delivering them to the final target represents a vital process in oil industry. It depends on many factors among which a set of pumps and associated equipment. In this study, an analysis of oil well production extracted from the earth's interior to the surface is performed. Oil pumps used for lifting oil products from wells are investigated. The advantages of an oil two-rotor submersible pump over centrifugal and sucker rod pumps are noted.

In order to improve the precision of oilfield single well production prediction, a single well production prediction model based on improved extreme learning machine (RWELM) is proposed. Substituting wavelet function for common activation function, structural risk minimization principle is integrated into the model in order to avoid the local minimum and over-fitting problem commonly faced by traditional extreme learning machine (ELM) in single well production forecasting. Dynamic data of an oil well production is simulated of Lun Nan oilfield. Experimental results show that the forecasting model is better than ELM, LM-BP neural networks, BP network with delay time sequence in both generalization performance and predictive accuracy.

The hot flushing is a major means of removing wax. For low pressure reservoir, it is possible to produce a large number of washing fluid flowing into the formation, which affects the well production recovery. The application of hollow sucker rod hot flushing technology can avoid fluid pouring back into the formation, and the wells can keep production. Based on the principle of hollow sucker rod hot flushing and heat transfer theory, calculation model of temperature field was established, and hollow sucker rod hot flushing simulation system was developed, which can guide flushing in oilfield.
