In this paper, a digital direct current source based on Nios II is studied. The system adopts FPGA as hard core and the main circuit of constant current source consisting of operational amplifier LM358 and power Field Effect Transistor (FET) IRF530. In addition, 12 bit D/A chip MAX531 and 12 bit A/D chip TLC549 are used to monitor the output current. The system outputs current from 20mA to 2000mA with 0.5mA step level, the set current value and actual output current value can be displayed by LCD. Result shows that the system has characteristics of high precision, good stability, small size and high integration.

In this paper, we designed a new type of high precision 1 μA constant current source after deeply studying the high precision precise dc constant current source. Compared with the traditional constant current source, in this paper we adopted complex amplifier added with floating power supply outside to design high precision dc constant current source which is for China's space use , its output current is 1 μA, resolution is 0.1 nA, accuracy is 0.5. This high precise dc constant current source is mainly used for new model rocket engine performance testing in aerospace, but also can be widely applied in different fields in need of precision measurement.

Design of the constant current source based on pulse width modulation, and its working principle are discussed. The design can adjust the output current through pulse width modulation (PWM), and realize micro regulation by feedback output which stabilizes current output. The constant current source has some advantages of high precision, stable work, high conversion efficiency.

According to the driving characteristics of giant magnetostrictive material and the principle of constant current source analysis, the continuously adjustable driving power was developed by adopting the principle of constant current, selecting power operational amplifier, and using parallel flow technology to expand its output current, which had a large current, large output power, high efficiency and low power consumption. And through the actual test, the driving power of giant magnetostictive actuator reveals a good performance.

This system based on single-chip microcomputer control, with buttons and LCD monitor as the man-machine interface of numerical control dc power supply. System is mainly composed of rectification filter circuit, the output current control module, LCD display module current and voltage controlled constant current module. Button to SCM number controls the size of the output current DAC0832, LCD display the current value. This system controlled by single chip microcomputer DA output, make the whole circuit system has a stable output current, step precision is high, easy to control, etc.
